Psicom that name had become feared all over Cocoon due to his past actions dealing with the Pulse I ‘Ce incident, but had been many years since that dreadful time Rosch stills feels Regret for his past actions but he has atoned for this by keeping cocoon safe for Cid’s return he would become the new Primearch. This was indeed a very good day, Rosch had been ordered to report to the Eden Palace to meet with Cid, so he began to make his way towards Eden Palace in a Psicom Armored Car due to his flagship was currently deployed on a mission.
The Armoured Car was escorted by the Eden Guardian Corps as this was there domain so it would only seem fitting they would be the ones to play bodyguards to Rosch. The road was long and he had seen the sites countless times and the people going about their day-to-day jobs depressed him, but he had his Headquarters within Eden so he had had time to adjust to the fact that it never changes. As the Distance between him and the Palace drew closer he could see the gates come into Focus and the ever so Diligent Guards where already preparing to stop the car the car had reached the Gate and was stopped by one of the palace guards
He began to walk towards the window side of the car and tapped on the window with his gun, Rosch lowered the window and the guard spoke saying, “May I see your Identity chip please sir. Rosch unhooked the necklace and took out the small chip and handed it to the guard he then began to scan the bar code well he was doing this he asked if Rosch could pass a Retinal Scanner check that along with the Identity chip would proof Rosch is who he claimed he is.
After a few moments the Scan of Rosch Retina combined with the Identity chip the scanner pad the guard had bleeped and an auto voice spoke saying speak saying. “Identity accepted Lieutenant Colonel Yaag Rosch Psicom Director. “ Thank you Colonel the Primearch awaits your Arrival enjoy your stay within the Palace.” The Guard Salutes and the gates open and Rosch car pulls up in front of the main Palace Doors, he steps out, walks up the stairs, and heads towards Cid’s office. He knocks on the door and addresses him saying. “Your Highness Colonel Yaag Rosch reporting as ordered he saluted and awaited.”

when all is said and done, i will be free, and when i’m gone, you can't depend on me, in time you’ll see you stand alone into our own- - - - - - - - - - it wasn’t right to call it a reward, or was it? lieutenant colonel yaag rosch had taken control of the sanctum and thus cocoon in the year that he was gone, though actually dead. he had been loyal too and a new primarch hadn’t been appointed during his absence. rosch had believed that the young primarch of cocoon would come back.
probably didn’t expect cid raines to be upon gran pulse of all places.
and might not expect the man to be sitting at his desk wearing a white shirt with black trousers with black boots instead of the ivory coloured ones, but i suppose you could expect that for a meeting such as this. really what might had surprised the lieutenant-colonel was the fact that the primarch’s head was on the desk, resting his forehead on it while he awaited yaag’s arrival. when he heard the man’s entrance and voice he looked up immediately and sat up straighter, waving a hand (his right, which was bandaged around the palm and wrist under the story that he had burned himself) as if to tell him to quit the formal address.
“you may sit,” cid said, nodding his head to one of the chairs in front of his desk. “and please call me cid. i’m more friendly than dysley, or rather barthandelus-” cid murmured ‘curse his name’ under his breath quietly before continuing, “so you’re not required to address me as ‘your highness’ or anything.” rosch probably thought that cid was a bit loony, which he probably was due to lack of sleep, coffee, stress, depression (almost leading to suicide) and such, but with long-term effects coming from being a l’Cie and the other just from his personality in general.
cid allowed a pause in his speaking as he took a small stack of uncompleted paperwork from in front of him and put it into a neater pile next to the stack of completed work. he rested his right elbow on the table with his left on his lap, the bandaged hand resting in the air near his mouth.
“you must be wondering why i’ve requested your presence here, and really it is a thank you more than anything else,” a smile appeared on cid’s face, “though you also show the abilities for me to do this.” his pale green eyes flickered to the side, attempting to see out of the window behind him however failing to do so. he had a feeling that a certain someone was watching him.
“i’ve decided to promote you to general of PSICOM, giving you full control over PSICOM, but also with control over the guardian corps if i request you take over for a while. you remember me talking to you about me as the head of the sanctum as well as the guardian corps, correct?”

“Thank you cid”Rosch replies before taking a seat at the same desk as the Primearch and took a moment to look at his outfit for someone who has been dead for the last year he looked in good shape. He listened as Cid carried on saying. “You must be wondering why I’ve requested your presence here, and really it is a thank you more than anything else” Hearing the words from the Primearch himself saying thank you for what he had done over the year if Cids plan was to make Rosch feel good about himself, then he had passed that mission with flying colours.
“Sir it was nothing I was just following your orders, granted Psicom has had a bad history but over the years I have begun to see a change in the way people look at Psicom, calling my men to help with the rescue seemed to off made people trust Psicom again which is what I was hopeing for as we are here from them”. Rosch took a moment to let the fact that he had the thanks of the cid sink in his next words would really shock Rosch but at the same time means he has more control to protect the people and its inhabitants, the Primearch spoke again this time saying.
“I’ve decided to promote you to general of Psicom, giving you full control over Psicom but also with control of the guardian corps if I request you take over for awhile. You remember me talking to you about me as the head of the Sanctum as well as the guardian corps, correct” Rosch nodded and spoke again saying “Yes Cid” this was shock to Rosch being made a General and now having full control over Psicom, before he only had command over the elite units now he had full control as well as being to command the Guardian Corp when he needs to.

when all is said and done, i will be free, and when i’m gone, you can't depend on me, in time you’ll see you stand alone into our own- - - - - - - - - - true, PSICOM did have a bad name and citizens were usually unwilling to call on them for help, instead relying on the guardian corps. of course when the whole l’Cie incident took place, they started relying on PSICOM and the GC to take them down, and to protect cocoon from them. indeed, what the lieutenant-colonel said was correct. the people were looking at PSICOM differently and requesting help from them as well. of course cid had never seen the gradual change in the populace’s trust in PSICOM and when he returned to cocoon from gran pulse he was quite surprised to see that they trusted that branch more.
cid smiled ever so slightly, closing his eyes momentarily before studying the new general. “you’re shocked, i can tell. when i was promoted to brigadier general i too was shocked, and at my age it was an even bigger surprise,” cid paused for a second before adding, “i was twenty-one. i’m twenty-four now.” the newly promoted general might have known that but he thought he should reiterate it. the primarch went on to say, “of course with your new rank comes more responsibilities. if you find that you are unable to cope i suggest you request a break from me. i will understand. you should not make the same mistake as i did and overwork yourself, becoming suicidal in the process,” there was an air around the dark haired man that seemed to say that he did not wish to elaborate on the last few words he spoke. with this rank, as primarch, he was again feeling suicidal, but with the help of his friends he would be able to get through it again... and there was no l’Cie status that added to his stress, though of course rosch did not know that cid was once a l’Cie of barthandelus’s.
