Elena stands at the practically harmless height of five foot, three inches, give or take an inch for the slight heel in her shoe. She is of a petite frame, though well toned, with slender curves that are hidden beneath her uniform. On her body she wears the standard female Turk uniform. A black or dark blue suit jackets, matching pants with a white button-up shirt underneath, complimented with a black tie. On the bottom of her feet she wears a pair of shoes designed to appear both professional but durable in combat. This being said Elena still has a problem appearing her age, or even menacing with her looks. Elena wears her hair in an uneven, blonde bob, with one side grown out to retain a bit of femininity. Cursing her further is a soft face, and large brown eyes that projects her inner emotions, even when she tries to hide them. All in all, without the suit, one wouldn’t think the small blonde as any sort of viable threat.
PERSONALITY[/font]
It was not but a few years ago that Elena was recognized as the overeager and naïve rookie, who managed to slip up time and time again due to an over talkative nature. Elena tried very hard to be serious and put all of her effort into her work to keep everyone around her happy, but failed more than once. It was her mouth after all that leaked secret information to the “heroes” about where Sephiroth was heading, and then again ending up kidnapped in Wutai. The surprise in that she was prodigy from the military academy, book smarts doesn’t always account for common sense or street wise as she learned personally.
A lot has changed since the year Sephiroth was defeated, remnants tortured her, and Deepground invaded Edge. Fortunately Elena seems capable of brushing aside what has happened to her, and never lets the subject of it linger in conversation. The blonde Turk is as peppy as ever and seems to have an even deeper concern for the well being of her team mates yet she remains the little sister instead of the mother hen of the group. No longer is her job about being better than her sister, but instead to prove her own self worth to her teammates. Despite experience she still comes off as the naïve one due to a sunny disposition, and suffers from her need to have her teammates near. There is also a short fused temper that leads to emotional outbursts from the tiny blonde.

HISTORY[/font]
For a family known for its connections to ShinRa it comes as a surprise to most the misfortune that plagued the family before its rise. Before Elena or her sister were brought into the world their father, Evan worked in the top ranks of Shinra’s military before the SOLDIER project was started. With the money he made he managed to provide a home for his wife Natalie in the slums of Midgar where the two were raised. Unfortunately during combat he sustained a severe injury that would leave him permanently incapable of returning the field. Determined not to lose him however Shinra offered him a teaching position at the Military Academy in the works, and that included a pay raise.
Elena was born while her parents still lived in the slums, but after years of saving and raises the two were able to move their family onto the surface. From the steel plates over head to the refreshing starry night sky, Elena recalls clearly the first time she saw the beautiful moon.
Since her early childhood Elena had to grow up following in the footsteps of a sister nearly five years older then her. This age gap gave her sister a claim of wisdom and knowledge that she claimed Elena would never understand not having lived in the slums as she had done. Not only that but her sister’s innate talent to do everything perfectly always left Elena with incredibly high standards to live up to, which for a small girl was extremely frustrating. If she couldn’t it, came down to babying which only made her even more ashamed, if she could do it so could she!
The constant battle to win over the affections of their parents seemed never ending, and finally her sister made the ultimate play by joining the military academy, rumored to been helped in by her father (which rumors Elena likes to think are true). Like her father, a perfect shot, and for that skill upon graduation earned her the invitation to join the Turks. Her sister surpassed their father and determined to do so she joined the academy at the age of 13 to start training.
Originally however she had no intention of becoming a member of the Turks. She’d started her specialization in pistol firearms but dropped the classes later to distinguish herself from bother her father and sister.What few realize is Elena’s own determination drove her to be a prodigy at the academy. She earned 5 Elite Emblems of the academy that are given only to students who score highest on their exams, and Elena obtained the most in the school solidifying her status. This all despite her clumsy nature proves the girl was both very skilled in martial arts and usage of weaponry.
During her time at the Academy Elena observed three Ravens dispose of SOLDIER members and steal their uniforms. While she had considered informing the Turks about this the girl decided to take the task upon herself. She attempted to follow them until she eventually lost track. Being a witness lead to her kidnapping and being held hostage on a train. To alert the Turks she was on board she dropped one of her Emblems, and when they arrived Elena had already started to fight them. To avoid any casualties however the Turks made a trade of a material for Elena’s life, and it was that moment she vowed to become a Turk to surpass her sister. To repay the Turks for their help she allowed them to use her private training area as a hideout from AVALANCHE for awhile.
Graduation would come extremely early for Elena however when Tseng approached her to extend the invitation given to her sister years before. Due to an injury Reno sustained the Turks were short handed, and she was the best pick from the academy students. Though the tender age of nineteen the girl was ready to best her sister and anyone who stood in the way of her job.
The ‘heroes’ would meet the woman the first time in Mythril Mines alongside of Rude and Tseng, where she slipped up and revealed their mission objectives to the group. It could be said her first year was the single roughest having to suffer constant defeat at the hands of the blonde spiky haired ex-SOLDIER, getting kidnapped by Don Corneo, Tseng getting ran through, and Rufus supposedly dying in a fiery explosion. Ultimately her first year was the downfall of Shinra and destruction of Midgar, which surviving through made quite the impact.
After the incident Tseng revealed to the other three Turks that Rufus Shinra had indeed survived, however had contracted Geostigma. A job was still a job, even if it meant just serving as guards when Rufus went to Healing Lodge for refuge incase he perished from the disease.
Work returned quickly as Rufus had the idea of retrieving the head of JENOVA from North Crater. This experience would turn quickly into a nightmare when three Remnants of Sephiroth would appear. Elena and Tseng managed to get the head to Reno so he could escape, but the two suffered serious wounds that left them incapable. The two of them would be put through torture by Yazoo, Loz, and Kadaj until the enigmatic Vincent Valentine played hero. It took some time to recover by she managed to get back in Midgar just in time to save their boss as he fell from a building to escape the remnants.
With the arrival of the Calamity, Elena’s life has only altered slight. Gaia having been consumed in chaos consistently itself, Elena has gotten used to having to deal with change. No matter what she has placed herself to stand with her fellow Turks in the coming days, loyalty to Rufus ShinRa remaining. Those of the meteor crisis she still holds a bit of distaste for, mainly Cloud Strife, but is willing to call them ally since she feels her life owed to Vincent Valentine for rescuing Tseng and herself from the Remnants.

Pistol - A standard issue Turk pistol designed by ShinRa. Originally designed by Scarlett the gun has the capability of holding materia, though such magic usage is now outdated. It functions like a normal pistol still.

Spirit of the Turks – The Turks fight as a unit, they’re stronger together then they are apart. When Elena or a fellow Turks hits below 15% health, Elena acts by increasing the entire party’s defense by 30%. For every Turk in the party’s overall defense is increased by 5%.
