PERSONAL
PERSONAL APPEARANCE
Like all Turks, Rude is almost always dressed in a navy blue suit and a dark tie with gloves. Out of the entire team, Rude is the one least likely to draw much attention to himself, not factoring in his impressive physical size. He's is a well-tanned bald man who is never seen not wearing a pair of jet black sunglasses, to the point of keeping spares in case his current ones are broken in some way. Other than that, the only notable physical feature is his goatee, which is not outstanding.
PERSONALITY
Rude's persona is as simple as his outfit. He's a quiet man, usually choosing to stay quiet and merely keep an imposing presence during conversations. While his partner Reno is outgoing and a little sporadic, Rude is taciturn and predictable. This doesn't mean he's difficult, however. He gets along quite well with Reno in particular, despite their differences, and is the kind of man to watch everyone's backs during the heat of combat. He's not 'rude' by any means, either, and is quite the gentleman.
Of course, Rude retains his stone-faced persona while in combat, and mostly just grunts and stomps his way through opponents. He keeps his cool, not getting to excited, but also keeping his focus. It should also be noted that Rude has somewhat of an interest in Tifa Lockhart, possibly because of the physical nature of her fighting style. Rude keeps this to himself, however.
ITEMS
Tons of extra pairs of sunglasses, mainly.
HISTORY
Rude's childhood is generally a mystery to anyone and everyone but the man himself. It's likely that Rude is a name used to avoid any prodding into his back story through the source of his real name. Born to a relatively poor family, Rude only received his basic education through his teenage years only by working to add extra income for the family. Due to this upbringing, Rude found his only way to work up the ladder was through military work, just as his father, whom Rude had never met, had supposedly done. Receiving his basic training from Shinra Inc.'s military program in his late teens, Rude remained with the company as a night guard when he graduated from the program, earning marks for his focus and determination.
Rude slowly worked his way up the ladder of Shinra's military forces, eventually landing in a special division of the Department of Public Safety known as the Investigation Sector of the General Affairs Department, on a team known simply as the Turks. Due to Rude's silent, relatively indifferent nature, he was thought to be an excellent fit on this black ops team. Rude spent two years working with the Turks as an opposing force to the terrorist group known as AVALANCHE which longed for the destruction of Shinra. In the midst of this war, Rude began dating a young lady known simply as Chelsea. The other Turks, noticing that Rude would disappear when not on duty, spied on the couple and discovered that Chelsea was a member of AVALANCHE. Though both cared deeply for one another, they were eventually forced to part ways due to their differences.
Rude's next missions as a Turk would have him teamed with a slightly younger man by the name of Reno. For the most part, the squad is tasked with capturing two young men by the names of Cloud Strife and Zack Fair. As the situation develops between Shinra and AVALANCHE, Rude and company come into conflict with Cloud's party on numerous occasions while investigating the events surrounding Sephiroth's rampage, though they do assist Cloud on occasion, such as in Wutai.
After the Meteor crisis ends, Shinra has seemingly lost their grasp on power, yet the Turks remain in service to Rufus Shinra, specifically Rude and Reno. This time around, as the Remnants of Sephiroth are spreading their chaos, Rude assists Cloud several times due to Shinra's interest in avoiding another problem like Sephiroth. Rude fights Loz, only holding his own fairly well, but he does succeed with his plan to detonate a bomb directly beneath Loz and Yazoo's bikes, nearly killing them both.
In the aftermath of the 'devastation' caused by the Calamity, Rude's life experienced very little change- he's still a Turk, still works with his same old partner, and is still loyal to anyone aligned with Shinra. Outside of that and occasionally helping out his former foes from AVALANCHE, Rude has taken the whole situation with relative indifference.[/blockquote]

N/A - Rude's only consistent weapon is his fists, though he carries a simple nightstick.
STOCKED ABILITIES
Faultsiphon - When an attack lands successfully the defense of a target is quartered until the next attack is landed.
Counter - Doubles damage dealt after taking damage.
Momentum - Every time an attack lands successfully the attacker is granted an attack power boost of 10%.
BREAKING LIMIT
Bastion: Rude's just one of those guys who only seems to get stronger as a fight lingers on- even if he's taking the brunt of the beating. This ability can be triggered at any time in a fight, but is more potent depending on the length of the battle and the damage Rude has sustained. At it's basic level, this ability cuts down damage taken by Rude by a quarter and enhances his damage by a quarter. It maxes out at a 50% increase in both when Rude is involved in a strung-out battle where he's taken the brunt of the opponent's attacks.
