Upon entrance, Scara immediately didn't like what she saw. In Gran Pulse, she was so used to the fresh, clean air, full of wildlife and nature that this place was a complete shock to her. It was a wasteland, basically, and Scara felt like she had to do something to this place but she knew, by the rancid smell in the air, that not even Vento could help this place.
Scara walked on, trying her hardest not to weep for the nature here; Scara had not realized how much nature meant to her until she arrived on this place. Scara felt that she couldn't breathe in a place that had lost it's beauty and it's beautiful essence from which mother nature had kissed it. Did human hands do this, or some kind of unnatural phenomenon?
'Watch your surroundings.' Vento was right - she had to pay attention on getting home and not bumping into anyone. However, that plan failed as she looked up and smack right into the back of someone. Vento sighed mentally, wondering sometimes if Scara was the true blood of the Roshinto family - however, he saw this little girl born from Veronica and she alone was able to communicate with him.
It was only time before the inevitable happened. Scara quickly backed away from the man, bowing to him. "I-I'm sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!"

From what he'd heard, this town had apparently taken a nose dive in a bad direction. From 'paradise' to 'wasteland', if you asked him. But of course, he'd only heard it described as a paradise; he had no idea, really. All he knew was that this place wasn't Shibuya, which meant he had no idea where he was. The new 'airship' thing he'd bought had an updated world map, though, so he wouldn't be lost for TOO long, hopefully. His thoughts were interrupted when a girl about his age bumped into him and apologized. A lot of people seemed to be running into him lately in the literal sense lately.
"Don't worry about it. A lot of people seem to be doing that recently, but whatever works. You all right?" He asked, noticing she'd run into him hard enough to knock herself over. May as well be nice; that was the first step to not being an antisocial jerk.

Scara blinked. Maybe...there were more clumsy people out there than she thought. She registered that she finally met someone around her age, everyone being older, and smiled a bit. "T-Thank you for asking but I'm fine." Scara found him to be such a nice, friendly boy, despite her not really knowing the male population very well.
Vento was confused in how ever since the Calamity blasted Scara away from her homeland did she meet more males in her life than anywhere else. However, he deemed Neku the benefit of the doubt that he would hurt Scara and Scara got no reaction from the dragon. "My name's Scara. What's yours?" Scara was trying her hardest not to remember.
She was trying to forget the stale winds blowing that not even Vento's pure, crisp air could solve. This place was dead, no matter how much Scara wished it weren't. She hoped Neku would respond to her before she would weep and mourn for the nature lost in such a grand place that is grand no longer.

Neku was, of course, a bit hesitant. Still not quite used to the whole 'You have to introduce yourself to strangers to make friends' deal. "Neku Sakuraba, from Shibuya, Japan. I'm honestly surprised almost everyone speaks Japanese, considering it's a jumble of different worlds from what I can put together," Neku mused. Why DID everyone know how to speak Japanese with all these different worlds? Lucky coincidence?
"It's kind of dangerous to be traveling without anyone else; you get lost?" He asked. He was certainly lost; He hardly knew left from right in this wacky melting pot of worlds. All he knew was people didn't accept Yen as a universal currency; something called 'Gil' took it over. "If you're looking for somebody, I might be able to help you a little."
