All he could hear is sea waves, he slowly opened his eyes and first thing he saw, a seagull flies above him. Templar realized himself that he was lying on the sands, he tries to get up but the pain on his waist was really stings, he groaned in pain. "Ack..! Shite.." Templar pushes his hand on the sands, support himself back onto his feet. Something liquid stuck in his stomach, he forced himself to throw up onto the sands, it was the sea water he swallowed in the first place.
It was unpleasant feeling at first, but feels good after vomit the sea water out from his stomach. He looks around his surroundings, Templar knows that he was on the seaside but.... it's not Bodhum. Of course he knows how the beach and ocean in his hometown looks like but, this one is different. "... Where the hell am I?" Templar scratches his head for a moment, and he remembers something back in his mind.
He along with few Guardian Corps recruits are tasked to bring supplies to Guardian Corps headquarters in Eden via helicopter, not Fidelis Combat Team members used to do. A wormhole appeared and sucked the chopper and Templar, falls out from it when the helicopter becomes unstable and unbalanced. All he could remember that he falls into the sea, and nothing he could remember later on. Right now, he is on the beach, of an unknown land.
He checks his gear and realized his assault rifle went missing, probably lost it during fall out from the helicopter but luckily his radio still functioning, he quickly set the frequencies to call for aid from Bodhum Security Regiment. "Wonder Castle, Wonder Castle this is Bravo 2, anyone out there receiving? Over?" Statics is the only responses, and this means no good for him. "This is Captain Mactavish, any Guardian Corps personnel read me, over?" Templar keeps on trying but still, no one responses. "...Bollocks!" he throws his radio on the sands, sat down on the sands immediately, he was the only one who survived during the disaster.

How'd she---no, it probably had to do with Vento. There was no physical way Scara could have gotten here. Actually, Scara remembered now, back in Luca, of all places. Well aren't you a cute chocobo! ...You want me to climb on your back? Whatever for---AHHHH! That about summed it up. Now here she was, in an unknown land, far from Luca or Midgar but one step closer to her real home back on Gran Pulse.
Scara felt like she just went on the ride of her life and, as usual, Vento didn't respond to her. Scara looked around, her feet sinking into the sand with each step. Scara didn't really know how to handle this - even if their were beaches on Gran Pulse, Scara has never been on them, so Scara fell face forward plenty of times before she heard Vento's familiar rumble.
Meaning, there was someone here he didn't like. Scara was startled when something moved in the sand as Vento's rumble was louder. Still, without Scara being an arbiter, Vento was stuck in a non-physical form. Scara approached the figure carefully, then noticing it was a person - and a radio. "U-Um...excuse me? Is...is this yours? This...um..." What was it? Scara had never seen such a thing before.
But upon closer examination, she noticed that he was injured. Scara quickly was on his side and [Cure]d his scratches, watching them fade with her magic. It wasn't much but at least he should be feeling better. Scara smiled a bit. "A-At least it shouldn't hurt anymore." Scara could feel Vento's angry glare at him, his teeth snarling. 'Vento, I'm fine. He won't hurt me.' With that mental thought, she felt Vento's pressense fade.

He blankly staring at the sands with his narrowed eyes, he doesn't want to think further anymore as if there is no hope for him. Templar's eyes swayed away from the radio on the sands, he was... desperate and worried like he never did before. Blinked his eyes once, Templar laid his chin onto his palm, looking at the ocean.
What happened to the helicopter and the rest of his recruits? Did the helicopter crashed somewhere near here? Is there any survivors and the weapons thus other supplies for him to scavenged? No one knows even himself, all Templar remembered is he fall out from the helicopter and almost drowned in the sea.
As he was in ponder, someone approached him and cast curing magic on him, all the cuts and injuries are gone. It wasn't his first time he had been healed like this but, he was grateful to his savior. As he look up, Templar saw a young girl in her teenage years. She was so young that she can be his younger sister but the girl have powers to heal, it was remarkable.
"... Thank you, young miss." Templar gets up as he was good as new. Before he could continue, the girl hands out the radio which he throw on the sands earlier, she was trying to be helpful and Templar, understands that. "... I'm sorry, I was just... Nevermind, but thank you." Templar takes the radio from the young girl, and places it behind his buttpack. Wait, a person is here so that's mean there must be a settlement or town nearby, "Are you from around here? I was... a foreigner who survived from.... shipwreck, is there any town nearby?" He made another lie to the girl, to concealed his identity as counter-terrorism operative from strangers.

Scara was glad she could help in some form or way. She blinked when he was trying to say something but thanked her instead. This was the first indication that something must've happened and Scara wondered if it were her fault. But then he mentioned he was from a shipwreck and looked surprised, then even a little sad. Even Scara knew what a ship was.
"I'm sorry to hear that...but I had a...uh...chocobo incident so...I ended up here." 'Costa Del Besaid - this beach is connected to the town of Besaid.' Scara blinked in surprise. How did--- "But I heard there is a town called Besaid not far from the beach. I'm sure everyone is there from the shipwreck too!" 'He's lying.' Scara blinked again. Why was Vento so vocal? 'It doesn't matter - he needs to rest.' She told him inwardly.
"U-Um do you need any help getting up? I mean you just came from a ship wreck and all!" Scara said, not noticing that there was no ruin of a ship wreck anywhere near the coast. Then again, he could claim he was washed off the ship and washed ashore here - but he also wasn't wet. Still, he could say he might've been lying there for hours. "My name's Scara. What's yours, mister?" Scara didn't want him to revive any memories of the ship wreck so tried to turn the conversation from ship wreck to introductions.

"Templar Mactavish, but you can call me Temp. Too young to be called mister." Templar shrugs with his gentle grin, he slowly gets onto his feet while supports himself by pushing his hand onto the sands, the cure magic from Scara was quite, remarkable. "Not to worry, your curing magic was quite more than effective on my wounds. I can get up, Scara."
So there is a settlement nearby here, and when Scara states that perhaps will be "shipwreck" survivors were there, then Templar have to go and look for the pilots and the recruits, hope that they are survived from the helicopter crash site. If her words are true, Templar will linked up with these operatives first and discuss how to get out from this continent. But if there is really no survivors, then Templar will do this on his own, plus collect the dog-tags.
"Well, Scara. Can you show me the way to this town? I was a foreigner from far lands so... I'm not really familiar to this area, can you do that?" Templar was really unfamiliar with this place, unless he have a map or assistance from his headquarters in Bodhum through radio.

Scara nodded. It was just tradition for her to give courtesy to others, even if they are not far from her own age or even younger. "I-I'm glad to have been of some help!" Scara said, giving him her signature smile. However, of course he wanted directions to where this settlement was and realized that Vento wasn't going to speak.
Either he knew and didn't speak, or the radius was too far. Vento knew every nook and cranny of Gran Pulse but the winds here were different than on her giant, wild world. "I'm not from here myself. i just recently arrived to Besaid myself so I'm...just as lost as you are...sorry." Since he didn't know the lands well, Scara could only hope that the settlement of Besaid was, well, hard to miss.
'Vento...?' No answer. The winds, however, became much more light, to Scara's sudden realization. "I don't think it should be hard to find, though. I must've missed the settlement coming here." Yeah, it was best not to mention the crazy strange chocobo that knocked her from here to the other continents. It would be strange if the chocobo came by again...huh.

"I see... So you are same as me... another traveler or wanderer." Templar checks his tactical vest's pockets for a while then reaches his hand to his buttpack, and he found something that he need; cigarette pack and the lighter. Takes out his cigarette and lit fire on it after places it between his lips, Templar inhales the tobacco into his throat then exhales out again from both of his mouth and nostrils, lucky that the cigarettes was already dried but not quite.... tasteful as they used to be.
"Then we have to find the settlement or any places that have shelter, and we both shared the same situation." Templar checks his pistols and ammunition for a moment, and these weapons are all he left during the incident and hope to get some new firearms or weapons later on. Where to find the settlements or any places to settle down? Templar was a tracker back to his days as apprentice of Bishop. "If you're alone and lost, without any support and aid, what are you going to do? Remember these words; Seek and Survive."
Templar look around for a moment, there must be something like road signs or if lucky, foot prints. At last he saw something, a road sign not far from Scara's behind. "Have you notice that?" Templar shows Scara the sign as he points his finger at it, perhaps luck is by their side or... it just coincidence. Feeling grateful, Templar approaches the sign while looking at it. The words on the sign is not Cocoon or Pulsian alphabets but Templar, curious about himself that he can read the languages. "Strange.... I can understand these languages..... There's a village nearby around here." Templar rubs his chin for a moment as he keeps on look at the sign. "All we need to do is heading north, but I can't be sure how long it's going to take by walking on foot."

Scara has never seen the article in his hand before. Gran Pulse didn't make tobacco or any form of drugs. But when Scara smelt it she winced a bit at the rancid smell. Maybe he didn't notice because of how the wind was - but it soon changed direction, almost too quickly. Scara nodded. She needed some rest - after being bullied by that chocobo - but also she's been worried sick about Akira.
It was starting to drain her so Scara needed a place to stay - though the beach looked comfy enough. However, Scara knew that he wouldn't have thought of the ground as a safe place to be, or a place to live. Scara, being the nomad of Gran Pulse, didn't settle anywhere so any patch of land could be called home...in a sense. Gran Pulse was her home, not a place with a roof on it.
Scara blinked and turned around, not noticing the sign. You did though, didn't you? An amused rumble appear in her head as Scara sighed. "Well I don't mind walking since I do it all the time." Which was true, or running away from various monsters if Akira hadn't killed them already. Or running to make sure Akira didn't kill so much...it was a tough job sometimes.

"But if we haven't arrive before dark, guess we had to camped somewhere." Templar placed his hands onto his hip as he look at the road sign board. At least there's a road sign otherwise, it would be take days or weeks to find a settlement. He finishes his cigarette break and throws it onto the ground, stomps it with his hike-shoe to end the flame. "Come, let's go." Templar gestures Scara to follow him by his side.
BGM: FFX OST: Besaid Island
Few minutes of walking, the weather around these jungles are not cloudy or hot, the wind keeps them cool as they pass by a waterfall. The water was crystal blue and mostly, consumable. Templar approaches the water and crouches down while takes off his gloves and tactical vest, he dipped both of his hands into the water and washes his face for a moment.
"So you say that you're not from around here... where you from?"

Scara nodded. Camping with anyone didn't sound like just a bad idea - though Scara had little...interaction with the male version of the human species. Basically, fancy for she doesn't talk to guys very often. Scara continued onwards with Templier and well aware the winds was possibly Vento's doing, or in attempt of Vento's doing.
Scara wished he'd stop messing around with the winds of other places, other worlds and continents, but alas, Vento was a stubborn arbiter. They they met with a clean body of water as Scara couldn't help but smile. Scara loved the water, despite being of wind based origins, and dipped her hand in the water, feeling it's cool and clean touch, and took some in her hand and drank some.
In Gran Pulse, she had to learn to conserve water. She and Akira was surrounded by pure bodies of water, but other times, water wouldn't be around for days. Despite having vessels to contain water in, it was best to quench the thirst fully when it's available than when it's not. It was common sense. "I'm from Gran Pulse." She's been more open to telling people this since they didn't seem to be Cocoonian, rather, from other places.

The word "Grand Pulse" struck freezes him from being continue to washing his face, Templar's eyes directly look at Scara for a moment. Although he was a Cocoonian, Templar bears no grudge against Pulsians and his only enemies, are terrorists. Mostly terrorists in his homeworld are rather from Cocoon and ex-military, none of his enemies are from Gran Pulse. Not only that, Pulsians saved him and his team once in Gran Pulse during the Shadow Corps' betrayal, they even gives them shelter.
Templar stands up as he wears on his tactical vest and his pistols. "Pulsians saved my life once, I was greatly in life-debt with them." Templar crouches down and drinks the cool water with his hands before he could wear on his gloves. After finished, Templar places his hand onto his hip while look at Scara with his smile. "You're honest, and I'll be honest with you too..... I'm from Cocoon....But I bear no grudges against you and your kin, terrorists and criminals are my real enemy."
Templar wear on his gloves and slides his hair back for a moment, "And.... I wasn't survived from shipwreck, that's a lie because I thought you were local here... I was fall down from a Cocoon helicopter and drown into the sea, then I was washed ashore, then I found... you." Templar points his finger at Scara while winking with his smile. "And again... I was saved by a Pulsian... Thank you."

Oh just great. Scara saw his reaction and physically flinched. She should've been more careful as fear crept into her eyes. Scara knew very well of the hatred Cocoonians had against Pulsians. however, Scara instantly calmed down, and almost fell into the water as a result, when he mentioned that he was saved by Pulsians. Meaning, he knew the kindness, not the savagery that most Cocoonians got about Pulsians.
Scara nodded. So, he confirmed her thoughts about him being Cocoonian. Scara harbored no hatred, for anyone really, for Cocoonians even though this was her first time, possibly, meeting a Cocoonian. Scara was shocked at the lie he told. Scara didn't mind about the lie but she knew what a helicopter was. Akira briefly taught her things in Cocoon - how she knew she was afraid to ask - so knew certain things.
"But wouldn't that mean...?" There were no survivors. At least in a ship, there were lifeboats, being swept up to shore, the ship sank slower. However..."There might still be survivors anyways! They might've popped up on shore before you and wandered to Besaid!" Scara had to continue to be hopeful. Too many things threatened to swallow her into despair and Scara could barely take it.

"Agreed. But the main problem is; where are they?" Templar shrugs to Scara for a moment. If there's truly survivors from the crash-site, then the helicopter must be crashed somewhere around here. Good news is Templar could scavenged any weapons and items which is left in there but hopefully his recruits wouldn't blow it up with a C4 to prevent the helicopter fallen into the wrong hands.
The survivors must be lost as he and Scara did, Templar hopes that he will meet up with them and discuss how to get out from this foreign state and return to Bodhum. Templar wears on his gloves and guns, and he placed his hand onto his hip while looking at Scara. "Break's over, Scara... Let's-"
Something was moving in the bushes, Templar's hand slowly reaches his pistol while not moving his feet. As the "thing" wants to emerges out from the hiding, Templar draws out his pistol but something prevent him from pulling the trigger; it's a Chocobo. "Ah... A Chocobo," Templar rests his pistol for a moment while relaxed his itchy-trigger fingers. Chocobo are rather harmless and easily tamed like the ones in Nautilus, but this one.... not sure about this large bird.
The Chocobo, growls and sneers as it stares at Scara. ".... This isn't good." the Chocobo went rage for no reasons and it charge towards Templar and Scara. With enough strength he had, Templar immediately tackles down the Chocobo even it is larger than an average human. "Scara! Run!"[/b] Templar were pushed off by the force of the crazed Chocobo. It switches it's target to Templar and charge towards him. Templar rolls over to his side and dodge the Chocobo attack right in time. It later then ready it's stance for the attack. "Meh...." Templar draws out his pistol but he will take this Chocobo down with non-lethal force, by hitting it with his pistols' grip.

Vento even growled at the same time Templier noticed the chocobo's pressense. When it came bursting in, and Scara recognizing it not to be Sugar, she grew worried. And because she didn't register in time she was being attacked, Templier got hurt because of her. Something was wrong with the chocobo - for it wasn't a Pulsian chocobo.
It was a golden chocobo but the kind Cocoon has but...Pulsians were known to be the more aggressive type. Why was the Chocobo...? Scara was alarmed when he seemed like he was going to shoot the bird, a couple of times she noticed, but relaxed when he didn't. "Don't worry about me!" She needed to calm the chocobo down.
"Wind!" Air suddenly appeared under the chocobo and started a vortex before it had time to register. At least that should make the chocobo pretty dizzy, at least. "Something's wrong with him..." Being a nature lover, Scara found herself torn between attacking the animal into submission or trying to coax out of it's tempered state.

"Don't be stupid!" Templar yells back to Scara, he was fear of her safety and if she gets hurt, Templar will blame himself for that. The chocobo becomes dizzy after been hit by Scara's nature magic, not bad for a Pulsian mage. There's a chance for him to knock the chocobo out, Templar activated Momentum and he jumps on the wood in front of him and leap towards the chocobo.
Direct hit on the big bird's head with pistol whip, the chocobo shrieks in pain as Templar landed in front of it. The chocobo went in rage as it tries to peck Templar with it's beak but the soldier managed to rolls to his other side. As he gets up, the chocobo headbutted Templar away from it's location and thrashed towards a tree.
Pain in his back, Templar stands up again while groaned in pain and rubbing his back. "Scara! I hear that Pulsians can tame animals! Calm it down if you can! Otherwise, I have no choice but to kill the bird!" Hopefully the young priestess know what she is doing, otherwise it would be plan B; kill the chocobo.[hp=80/100] Templar
