PERSONAL
PERSONAL APPEARANCE
Because Roxas was Sora’s former Nobody, the two share a lot of similarities, but are, at the same time, very different in appearance. To start off, the blonde is rather short, and while it may appear that he is slightly taller than Sora, this is only because of his swirled/spiked hair style. So yes, he can be referred to that ‘spiky haired midget’ although the nickname is usually reserved for Sora. To elaborate more on his mess of hair, most of his locks are sticking up to the left side of his head, as if a hurricane swept across his scalp and pushed most of his hair over to that side of his face. The rest of his locks form minuscule spikes around his forehead, slightly resembling a porcupine. But no, it won’t sting if you attempt to ruffle his hair. You made might be covered in a mess of hair gel, though.
His eyes are a deep shade of sapphire blue, identical in every way shape and form to Sora’s. However, these optics express more anger than Sora will ever show, for the boy happens to easily frustrated and annoyed. Most of the time, these optics are dulled over with a look of boredom or annoyance, for there is hardly anything in life that excites him (besides the prospect of being around his best friend, Axel). On the rare occasion that things do go well for him, his eyes are a Sora-shade of bright, which draw attention to the way his face lights up in the prospect of something joyous happening to him. Keep in mind that it is a rare occasion when he is excited — only people close to him will be able to see his bright, smiling face.
Roxas’ neutral facial expression, as stated above, is that of a scowl. As if he is maddened at the world and has no reason to be happy, if you catch Roxas off guard, you will most definitely see him expressing some negative expression of some sort. After all, they say it’s easier to be pissed than to be euphoric. He’s got a boyish face identical to the Chosen One’s, rounded feature easy to mistake for someone who is totally innocent of heart. Which is the price he pays for being of relations to someone of total light — no one would ever expect him to be the dark being that he is. But that is exactly what Roxas is. Someone from the dark. His skin color is that of a creamy peach, breaking the stereotype of angsty kids being pale.
The body of Roxas is rather short, him being of the same height as Sora. Needless to say, if you were to measure up Roxas when standing next to someone as tall as Axel, you’d understand how much of a spikey-haired midget the kid can be. The boy is rather slender, no access fat stored on his limbs… That being said, he's not very muscular either, which makes it a wonder as to how someone like him could be the duel-wielding Keyblader.
As for his clothes, he no longer wears his Organization XIII cloak, or his Twilight Town-suit, given to him by DiZ. Because he’s thrown away all ties to the XIII and does not want to recall the tragic history that the stranger bandaged man had given him, the boy wears his own style now of days, which is simple and not too flamboyant. For his top, the boy wears a sweatshirt which is one size too large for him, it’s sleeves being that of a midnight black, while only the torso is white. His pants are cotton, loose, and pass two inches too far down his feet, equipped with white stitching all around it’s edges. His shoes are checkered black and white as well, flat and slip on-able, for those quick escapes and running at a fast pace. They are scuffed, however, from all of his travels amongst the worlds. Finally, the boy dons ivory white wristbands on both of his wrist…the left one with a strange embroidery. There, in black stitching, you can find a small key, resembling his destiny of the worlds…

PERSONALITY
If Roxas is anything, Roxas is stubborn. He doesn’t know when to take ‘no’ for an answer or when to give up at achieving his goals. Because to his mindset, nothing is impossible. If people aren’t ready to give him the answers he desires, or if people are trying to oppress him — as they always try to do — then Roxas will fight and rebel, until there’s no fight left in him anymore. Maybe that’s a better word to describe Roxas — a rebel. He follows his own set of rules and doesn’t really care about anyone else’s standards that they’ve set for him or themselves — this is his life, and he’s taking it by the reigns. Hell, if very existence itself is a rebellion. A witch, long ago, told him that he wasn’t supposed to exist, that he would never be his own person… And for a while there, he had thought, ’Maybe they’re telling the truth…’ But, hah, look where he is now! His own body, his own thoughts, his own mind… his own self, it’s all in his grasp.
Roxas is easily one of the most emotional people you’ll ever meet. He is someone who easily feels compassion for others, and it’s not hard for him to make new friends, after all. It’s easy for him to relate to others and feel for others, especially those close to him. He is the first to cry when someone he knows has left him for good, the first to rage when someone dares to insult someone close to him… Roxas is a being of extremes, and he doesn’t know how to tone himself down, doesn’t want to know how anyway…
But for every good emotion that soars through his chest, there is the bad that drives him down. Just like how little things can pick him up, and put a smile on his face that would last lifetimes, every bit of bad news has him reeling. He once took his Keyblade and smashed a whole computer apart when he learned that the life he was currently living was all one huge lie. He once left the only important person he’s ever had in his life behind, just so he could find out why all of these secrets were kept from him… He is a rash, quick to make decisions sort of guy, and nothing will stop that, not even death. Now, in this next life, he is still searching for answers, but wondering if a certain man’s words were true… Someone important to him once said, ’Let’s meet again in the next life…’ If he could just find that person, would everything go back to how it used to be, back to the good times?

ITEMS
BLUE STRUGGLE TROPHY CRYSTAL • While this is nothing but a blue orb, with no magical powers whatsoever, this small sphere means a great deal to Roxas. Back when he was being kept in the false Twilight Town, he won a Struggle Match and found himself the winner of the Struggle Trophy. The Trophy was adorned with four crystals, being red, orange, green, and blue in color. Roxas gave the other three crystals to Hayner, Pence and Olette, keeping the blue one for himself, as a symbol to remember the day by. Now, it's nothing but a useless trinket that jobs back old, painful memories, but it's still important to him, nonetheless.
HISTORY
“You were never supposed to exist, Roxas.”
Born from the Chosen One’s soul, Roxas was a Nobody, one with emotions, or the capability to feel. Once upon a time, his thoughts and feelings were part of Sora, the dormant parts of his mind. But as soon as Sora turned into a Heartless to save his special one, Roxas was born.
At first, things went smoothly. He was taken in by Xemnas, made a part of the team by him. And this team, Organization XIII, they soon grew to be a family to him. A dysfunctional family, but a family all the same. His best friend, Roxas’ special one, grew to be Axel — his partner in crime. As they grew, Roxas found himself believing less and less that he didn’t have emotions. If he didn’t, then how could Axel grow to be his very best friend?
But peace never lasts for long. Roxas soon found himself wondering, why was it he who had a Keyblade, and not anyone else? Little did he know that he was the Nobody of Sora, and it was the search for these answers that eventually forced him to leave the XIII. He figured no one would miss him, even if he did turn his back on his family, didn’t take into account that maybe Axel would’ve missed his company.
Betraying the Organization XII was never the wisest choice. Roxas was soon abducted by DiZ, and placed in a fantasy world — a false Twilight Town, where he was friends with three teens much like himself: Hayner, Pence, Olette. He could not remember the XIII, could not remember Axel, or anything of importance to him… But life was good here, easy… for the time being.
As always, whenever there is peace, there is catastrophe. Axel broke into the fake world in an attempt to save him — for DiZ’s plan was to hold Roxas here until it was time to merge him back into Sora. As this information became relevant to Roxas, he found himself hopeless, able to do nothing but fight and rebel against an invisible force. As DiZ eventually came to him, ready to merge him back into Sora and therefore erasing his exixistance, Roxas found himself sighing, unable to fight anymore.
“Looks like my summer vacation is… over.”
So he was gone, merged into Sora, able to see the world from his eyes, but still a very prominent part of his personality was still alive. He watched uselessly as Sora killed off his family, one by one, unable to do anything about it, but indifferent to most of their demises. The XIII’s existence was a stain on the world, wasn’t it? So wasn’t it a good thing, to take them all out, one by one?
But then, Sora was cornered. Trapped, in Betwixt and Between, surrounded by an unimaginable number of Nobodies. Out of nowhere, Axel came, performing his last attack, a kamikaze sort of blow that not only took out the Nobodies that threatened Sora’s life, but also his own. Through Sora’s eyes, Roxas watched his only friend in this world fade away…
After seeing through Sora’s eyes how Axel sacrificed himself for him, he had to know — what was so great about Sora? Why him? “Tell me,” he had asked Sora, his Org. XIII cloak covering his eyes. “Tell me why he picked you!” And as they did battle, he realized just why. Their moves were synchronized, blow after blow striking each other one in the same, as if they really were part of each other, as if this battle was confirming this fact. Even when he knocked the Keyblade out of Sora’s hands, even as he cornered him… the Keyblade reappeared in his hands, coming to him when he needed it most… It was infuriating, but it helped him make sense of everything…
“I see… that’s why.”
So he had a good heart, Roxas decided, distracted by Sora’s feat of Keyblade retrieval. The brunette brought down his blade on Roxas, stunning him, the boy shocked by how the match had quickly turned around. Shaking, he dropped Oathkeeper and Oblivion, the two weapons fading into light swiftly.
The boy flipped off his hood so that his blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes were no longer curtained from the world. So that everyone could so who he was under the hood. He was Roxas. He was Sora. He was all of those things… The boy blinked, realizing that what had happened to Axel back there could not be helped… And if being whole meant being a part of him, then he was fine with that now. Roxas turned his head, blinking at Sora with a ghost of a smile hidden in his features.
“You make a good other,” Roxas assured.
And he faded back into Sora, disappearing from this world.
He should’ve been dead, or as ‘dead’ as someone like him could be. After all, once a Nobody merged with its other, wasn’t he supposed to be whole once again? It didn’t feel that way — instead, he only felt trapped, suffocating, as he was no longer his own person anymore, but a puppet of Sora, used just so that he could be whole, while in the process, killing Roxas inside.
Thus, the Calamity struck, and all the wishes that Roxas once held dear to his heart struck true. His ‘rebirth’ just like his original ‘birth,’ was probably a mistake, however. The Calamity probably was supposed to kill Sora as Destiny Islands merged with the rest of the world, but instead, it only ended up ripping out a part of Sora’s soul — Roxas. Although ‘ripping,’ is a lenient term for what happened. Roxas was torn out of Sora’s body, his being violently carved out of Sora’s, so that he may have his body again. He could feel his thoughts, his very form solidifying as the Calamity reshaped him, and Roxas knew… that he was, somehow, alive.
Was this a heart, beating in his chest?

BREAKING LIMIT
THIRTEENTH DESTINY — Being the stubborn and brash kid that Roxas is well known for, this attack can only be unleashed if Roxas is in a tight situation and can’t afford to lose. Once activated, Roxas’ speed is three times what it was before, making it easier for him to deal out damage and dodge all physical attacks aimed in his direction on that one turn. His Keyblade(s) are charged up with all of his pent-up energy, and he unleashes a flurry of physical attacks. During this time, the sheer energy radiating on his Keyblade(s) are intense — should he hit an unarmored opponent, it will leave a burn that will sap a little of their health for a short amount of time (four posts). Near the end of his combo, the Keyblades will emit a radiating beam of energy (light magic). This technique has a five post cooldown and takes three posts to charge.
— A lesser form of Thirteenth Destiny, Roxas turns his Keyblade(s) to the sky. Charged with his pent-up energy, the boy releases light magic into the sky, emitting what looks like harmless fireworks. This bright light show actually temporarily blinds the opponent for two posts. The light magic then falls to the sky — should the sparks hit the victim, they’d do a normal amount of damage. This technique has a two post cooldown and takes one post to charge.
