well he most certainly wasn’t in this city before he had collapsed unconscious. the place where he somehow found himself was a dark, gloomy area of ruins, feeling like he had just woken from a long sleep. he had felt disorientated... and he still did, mind you. he lightly tapped his head as he leaned against the wall, unwilling to drag himself even more so. where was he before those ruins...? ah. the pulse invasion. he was in the primarch’s office, sitting on the sofa, watching the explosions of eden, the people running for their lives from various beasts that came from pulse. then the cavalry stormed in. primarch cid raines was tired of being a sheep following its master and so decided it was time for him to be killed.
“my dream is but a fal’Cie’s fancy now,” he had answered to the brown haired gunman, “end it.”
the side of his head ached a bit and cid slowly tapped the side of his head again. there was no wound there, but there did seem to be a scar... because it hurt a lot. if there was a gun wound there he was glad his raven hair covered it, because he would not want to draw attention by having a gunshot wound on the side of his head.
phantom green optics studied the people rushing about, seemingly untroubled. they were clad for summer, or rather, hot weather, but he did see a few armour clad guards walking about, seemingly untroubled by the heat. cid raines himself wasn’t troubled by heat. he could walk around all day in his guardian corps uniform if he wanted to, but he would rather not, even though it was comfortable. earlier on that day he had seen tall females, perhaps as tall as him, standing around and speaking to the humans, and they had tall rabbit ears. what place had he landed himself in? unwillingly, of course. but then there were also humanoid lizards of a sort and humanoid... pigs or something. and then flying rabbit-like things that seem related to the moogles upon his home world, cocoon. but one familiar sight, not including the other humans, was the chocobos. tall, lean, muscular, and with bright yellow feathers. they seemed to be a different strain of chocobo, though, than the ones in nautilus park, but still a chocobo. that made him relieved.
cid ran a hand through his hair, feeling a bit stressed out. he didn’t dare move. he had a feeling that if he moved now he would fall over or at least stumble. perhaps waking up from being dead made you a little disorientated. it was like waking up from an extremely long sleep. it made you feel groggy. however, that wasn’t the worst of his worries. he couldn’t remember some of his memories. just parts of it were blurred white or just completely removed. it was... disturbing?
“why am i alive? it’s impossible, i swear to the maker...” he panicked a bit inside. what if he was still a l’Cie? what if your status as one didn’t go away after death? then he relaxed, remembering checking the back of his right hand in the place before this. nothing there, just bare skin.
so why was he alive? something odd was going on, he could feel it.

She groaned, where was she now? The Pulsian woman looked around, this sure as hell wasnt Oerba and it sure wasnt Gran Pulse... or rather any part of Gran Pulse she remembered. She had woken up in some sort of inn with a woman standing over her, patting her head with a damp cloth, she blinked. Guh, the room felt way to bright, her eyes hurt, and her head was pounding. But she sighed and groaned looking about once more. Her Sari was folded beside the bed and she was clothed in her black tank top. It felt cool inside of this room which she was resting in. Jade eyes took in the figure of the woman who must have found her. The woman had a long head of brown hair, and much lighter skin, these were definitely not people from Gran Pulse, her wardrobe also gave away that she was not from Cocoon either. She blinked.. where could she be? The woman gave her a smile, "Seems your fever has finally gone down" her voice was cheerful, which earned a Grin from the huntress. "Ah, Nice ta meetcha, Names Fang, and if ya don't mind me askin' where the heck am I?" The woman gave her a good natured smile, "You're in the royal city of Rabanastre." Rabanwhowhat? Fang shook her head, that was definitely not a Pulsian Name, or settlement.
She sighed and reached for her sari, taking a look out the window to see that it was baking hot. She stood and gave the woman a thank you before easily replacing the bottom half of her Sari to where it belonged on her body. Then came the belt and she looked about. Her spear. Where. Was. Her. Spear. She glanced at the woman, "You wouldnt have happened to see a large Lance where you found me would you?" The woman nodded, "My husband is fixing it up.. or something" Or something. Fang didn't like that one bit. She moved swiftly down the stairs to find the man of the house examining her spear, Giving him a glance she sighed, "Oi, if ya want to know how it works.." she paused and took the lance once it was offered to her, "Ya could have asked." With an easy movement the blades snapped back into place when she heard a cheeping noise. She looked to see a Pulsian Chcocobo chick nested nearby that had made its way over to Fang when it saw her rise.
"Oh, you? Ya actually followed me ya lil runt?" The chick peeped in response to Fang's question. The chick probably had been abandoned for a plethora of reasons, one easy one being the color of its plumage. Fang personally liked the little thing but wouldnt ever voice that around anyone. Thanking the man and the woman, she picked the chick up and set it in her hip pack, and was given a canteen of water by the couple. Setting out into the blistering heat, she thanked Etro for the fact that she didnt wear the top half of her Sari today. Stepping into the streets she was faced with all kinds of people, humanoid lizards shuffled past, giving her the odd glance or two, these human, rabbit, hybrids also stopped and gave the woman a look before continuing on their way. Running a hand through the black mop of hair on her head, she prayed that she would run into someone... anyone familiar.
Fang looked at her shoulder, her l'cie mark was there, but scorched out, and inactive. She smiled, thank the maker for that. The bronzed woman strapped her lance to her back like always and continued on her way. In the clamor of the streets, her ears were fine tuned to pick up the sound of anyone familiar. And my god did she hear a voice that gave her a blast from the past. The masculine tone was that she knew of Cid Raines, the good ol' traitor that tried to kill her family and herself as a way of 'saving' them. Well isnt that a pleasant surprise? The huntress however sighed, she had no clue where she was, and by the sounds of it, nor did the brigadier general. Walking up to him she smirked, before saying in her usually rather confident tone.
"Aren'tyou a sight for sore eyes eh Sweetheart?"

relaxation didn’t last long, though to be honest raines never let all his guard down. when he heard a confident toned voiced, he immediately looked up, pale eyes meeting a huntress wearing only the bottom half of her sari. cid’s eyes studied her for a moment, his eyes eventually misting over as he glanced away. was it really fang, or an illusion that his mind had crafted because it wanted to really wanted to make him go mad?
“as are you, fang,” he murmured quietly, returning his phantom gaze to her as he stood taller, not to intimidate the woman – though well done if you did somehow manage to intimidate the pulsian huntress – but to seem more... alert. he still didn’t pull away from the wall behind him; his legs still felt like jelly. then a sudden urgent desire to know something came upon him, so, placing a hand on the wall, he stepped forward ever so slightly, managing to keep a calm tone to his voice.
“cocoon, fang. what became of it? the last i saw, eden was being ravaged by pulse’s beasts... though i doubt it was an invasion, as it was called...” the last part was turned down in volume, spoken to himself as his gaze travelled back down to the paved floor and his back met with the brick wall behind him.
cocoon... while there were things that related this city to his homeland, it felt a long way away.

“as are you, fang,”
The huntress studied the man for a moment. He looked rather weak, frail, nothing like the confident general that she had fought only a few years prior. She studied him and her gaze softened, it was a visible change in expression. She silently excused herself for a moment, and asked the nearest lizard-man-thing where the closest Inn, was and nodded at the directions the creature gave her. Walking back to the man she chuckled. "Ya look like ya went through hell." she stated. The confidence the woman had seemed to permeate the air, and affected people around her. She saw him try to straighten himself up and she frowned. As always those cocoon people tried to make themselves look regal and alert around the people from Pulse. Fang had no idea about the Pulse invasion, hell.. she had only woken from crystal a few days ago. But she remembered everything and everyone..
The heat right now was blistering, it obviously was around midday if not high noon. Cid was wearing the entire outfit he wore when she first met him... in this weather. Fang gave the outfit a disapproving look. She sighed, "Raines, yer gonna kill yerself with an outfit like that out here." She commented rather matter of factly. The woman chuckled a bit and then listened to him speak. The woman even though she had a bit of suspicion about him wasnt going to just jump to the conclusion about him being a bad guy. He had his reasons for opposing her family at the time, and he had his reasons for helping her find Vanille. Either way, this man had added one and then took it away, leaving him at neutral with her. Running a hand through her wild mess of hair she looked at the sky. No clouds, which meant the heat was only going to get worse as the day wore on.
“cocoon, fang. what became of it? the last i saw, eden was being ravaged by pulse’s beasts... though i doubt it was an invasion, as it was called...”
Her eyes widened.. "W-What? That ain't right... How did that even happen... The last thing.. I remember was waking up in a ten foot fall to the ground and trying to find Vanille.. The crystal Pillar had cracked.. and I ended up passed out, some woman had found me and taken me in.." She paused and tried to take in the information.. How could Pulsian wildlife invaded cocoon? where the hell was Titan at that time? Hell what was Anima doing? She groaned softly and rubbed her temples. This was SO not what she wanted to wake up to hear. "Either way, I guess this place is called Rabanastre, its some kind of Royal city. Bah, why do people even bother with that kind of stuff.." she muttered silently. Fang had one thing on her mind, and one thing only, where was her family? She couldn't find Vanille after her fall.. maybe Vanille was still asleep.. crystallized...
Fang could only hope.

“ya look like ya went through hell.”
“... perhaps i did,” he murmured quietly, more to himself than anything as he removed the leather gloves around his hands. his eyes studied the flawless pale skin of his right hand, a twitch of a weak smile on his face. he had only checked his unmarked hand twice since he had ‘woken up’ from death. how much time had passed since he committed suicide with the help of rygdea? he didn’t feel much older, not at all. was it like the gift of eternal life you gained when you completed your focus as a l’Cie? perhaps time doesn’t ravage certain bodies...
“raines, yer gonna kill yerself with an outfit like that out here.”
he blinked once, slowly too, and then realised what she was talking about. though it certainly didn’t look it the PSICOM and guardian corps uniforms were light in weight, allowing members of those divisions to move about swiftly in a battle. the thing that mostly weighed down raines was the spaulders on his shoulders, and it was nothing a physically strong man like him couldn’t handle. then again, this was the weather and the weather was a completely different foe to an enemy with an actual body.
well, seeing as i ended up here without the chance to change, it isn’t my fault... he thought to himself, not responding to the pulsian woman aloud, for no reason. then he could start feeling the effects of wearing his uniform [still wasn’t his fault for ending up here in this... royal city dressed like that]. the heat was making him feel a bit tired, and he had to admit it was much worse than the lindblum’s engine room... actually, rethinking that, it wasn’t as bad. the engine room is his division’s airship was extremely hot, and fortunately it didn’t spew fumes everywhere [the cavalry were more friendly to the environoment] but what it did was actually burn your skin off if you touched it without special gloves of a sort.
“w-what? that ain’t right... how did that even happen... the last thing.. i remember was waking up in a ten foot fall to the ground and trying to find vanille-“ lost her ‘sister’ again? “-the crystal pillar-“ what crystal pillar? “-and i ended up passed out. some woman had found me and taken me in.”
that certainly hadn’t happened when he was still alive. honestly, what crystal pillar? oh... he strained to remember the events before his death. everyone would’ve thought that the primarch had been evacuated and was waiting in a safe place before he decided to return to edenhall... and they must not’ve found his dead body half hanging over the sofa’s arm with blood in his hair and down his face, and not seen the wreckage on the floor of the guns the cavalry soldiers used.
a royal city? he had been correct, then. rabanastre was its name. it was slightly different than what a cocoon city would be named, as well as a completely different sort of architecture now that he thought about it. well, any hopes of this warm city being a cocoon settlement no one knew about went straight down the drain.
“it’s best i say what happened to me,” he paused, trying to remember the exact details. “i had become primarch and was making a speech at the grand prix race, then you and snow, and the others, decided to appear.” he paused, taking a deep breath and running a now-bare hand through part of his hair. “after that pulsian creatures started appearing through transgates, and the whole city of eden was chaos. a soldier came to evacuate me, however the cavalry arrived and shot him.” it was almost like he had forgot the huntress was there. “i asked rygdea to end my life, and so he did. then i somehow... became alive again, in a place of ruins. i assumed it was eden however nothing like eden was found there. i blacked out soon after i woke up and then i found myself... here.”
cid looked back at fang, fixing his pale green optics on her own pair of green. “so i know nothing of this ‘crystall pillar’ that you spoke of.”
ah, too many questions...

Raines, well Raines was a traitor and yet now he was an ally. Good and evil were such relative terms that humans used to categorize each other so that they could war amongst themselves. Fang sighed, it was odd for her to consider someone whom had attacked and nearly killed members of her family an ally. Yet, now.. she couldn't help but consider him a friend here and now. She knew Cid didnt mean to harm her family yet, it was somewhat hard to accept that kind of a reality. Cid when he was a l'cie he was right about the Fal'cie and she couldn't help but agree with his point about breaking away from the fal'cie, he had inspired her when she was in a moment of deep despair. It was right after her fight with him that Bahamut had appeared to her. The great dragon Eidolon that was bound to her for life.
Bahamut was summoned because of some thoughts her fight with Cid had inspired, and because of that she owed him in a way. She couldn't honestly call the man an enemy of hers. Her jaded stare was locked on his frail form. She was going to end up helping him to a place he could stay at for a while to recover. She would stay with him if he so wished her to. Maybe he could help her find Vanille, then again wouldn't that be a bit redundant? Either way it seemed that he was uncomfortable in the heat, and the woman had figured out where the nearest Inn was. It was not to far from there, and they could talk in a slightly more comfortable place than out in the blistering heat. Either way anything beat being out here. Fang may have lived in this kind of weather all of her life, but she still didnt want to spend to much time out here for the sake of the frail looking Brigadier General.
His reaction to her comment, told her.. she had a hole in her memory somewhere. She sighed, this wasnt very good at all. She sighed, a hole in her memory was going to be a big liability to her, especially seeing as she didnt know if what she had forgotten was of any importance. Even as Cid spoke, she couldnt recall those events, she couldnt for the life of her recall any kind of Pulsian invasion.. She shook her head, Good god, why cant I seem to remember this? Nothing is being brought back, not even after he said what happened.. God dammit Fang, what else have you forgotten? She thought to herself in frustration as she tried to comprehend what he said about the events.. The memories that were most vivid in her mind were the memories of her fight with Orphan, and turning into Ragnarok.. The great beast that the people of Cocoon treated with fear and distaste.
That was something Fang couldn't stand.. It stung to think about it, but because of her turning into Ragnarok, and severely damaging Cocoon, after she crystallized, her homeland's populace was annihilated. It quite honestly hurt more than she would care to admit. Ragnarok was the beast she had turned into with Vanille that saved their dumb planet from crashing int Gran Pulse. Fang and Vanille encased Cocoon in a crystal shell and pillar that held it above her homeland.. a sight that many people would be shocked to see.. to be honest she knew the view must have been breath taking for her friends and family to see after they woke up themselves. She couldnt blame Raines for not knowing about the crystal pillar, it was obvious he had holes in his memory as well.. Or maybe he just never knew about it because he was still crystal.. She didnt know but she owed it to him to explain..
"After we fought you, and continued on in the fifth ark, my Eidolon Bahamut revealed itself. And It gave us a path to my homeland Gran Pulse. We ventured through there and got some answers to questions, and headed back to Eden.. Where we fought and killed Orphan.." she sighed, that fight would haunt her forever. She would never forget the sound of Vanilles cry in pain of the torture that Orphan subjected the both of them to. Jade eyes closed as she recalled the events. "After the fight, Cocoon began a descent into Pulse, however Vanille and I assumed the form of Ragnarok.. and created a crystal pillar and case to hold up Cocoon away from Pulse. We destroyed and saved your home at the same time." That was in short what happened to the Pulsian resident while she was fufilling the focus. She had given the residents of Cocoon a new world..
Even so, it wasnt good enough for her to say that she had given them a new world, she had given them her homeland to make a new home from. It was a gift that had been of such value no single person could have ever truly understood the gravity of what Fang was giving to the people of Cocoon, even the people that had tried to kill her, her family and Vanille. The fact that she was giving them the homeland that she had loved with her heart and soul was something that could not be expressed in any verbal manner. Cid would hopefully understand what came with the gift of saving and destroying cocoon and perching it a short distance from the grounds of Gran Pulse. She smiled fondly, unfortunately the Pillar had cracked and thats how she ended up where she was now.. "Unfortunately after all that, A year I think it's been.. the pillar somehow cracked and I was awoken to see Cocoon gone, and falling twenty feet and then onto the ground. Not exactly the best way to wake up from crystal sleep eh?"
Raines wasnt dumb, he would understand what she was saying for the most part.

by the sigh the pulsian huntress let out, cid could tell she was deep in thought, or at least, not remembering what he said. a frown, a light one, appeared on his face. fang had just been awoken from crystallisation, hadn’t she said? he could remember her saying that she had lost memories of her first focus when he and the cavalry had rescued her. had the same happened right now? perhaps and perhaps not. but that couldn’t explain why he himself had gaps in his memory. he could remember rygdea, his right-hand man, and it was as sharp as a new, unused knife, but how he actually met the man was a foggy mystery to him. had he... did death not free him of the clutches barthandelus had him by?
but there was no l’Cie mark on his body, anywhere. so why should he assume that he had crystallised when he died, giving himself a new focus without realising it, and wake up like how oerba yun fang had; with parts of his memory missing?
“after we fought you, and continued on in the fifth ark, my eidolon bahamut revealed itself. and it gave us a path to my homeland gran pulse. we ventured through there and got some answers to questions, and headed back to eden... where we fought and killed orphan.”
he remembered them entering eden, but he didn’t remember the ‘descent’ cocoon took to crash into pulse. cid absolutely knew that he had been assisted with suicide.
“we destroyed and saved your home at the same time.”
“... thank you. for saving cocoon,” he paused, noticing the ache in the dark haired woman’s jade eyes, but he spoke no more. he understood what fang was trying to say, how it was hard to put into words, and the only way he would completely understand her was if he was able to spend time in her mind, feeling what she felt, hearing what she thought.
“not at all— a year, did you say...?” that shocked him. if it had been a year then cocoon’s primarch would’ve been gone for a year, and the government would be crumbling slowly from the inside. he winced and shivered despite the hot weather. “they’ll be wondering where i am...” he whispered to himself, staring at the floor before back at fang.
“if you assume that i forgot what happened... i didn’t. i swear to the maker. i was assisted with suicide, fang, so... obviously i wasn’t there when you gave cocoon a new start,” a weak laughing smile appeared on his face before he changed the subject to one that seemed more important.
“now, as you said, i might kill myself wearing my guardian corps uniform. i would go to the nearest inn however...” it pained him to ask for help, it bit his pride to ask for help, but unlike other sanctum officers he would not let himself be killed because of it.
“i’m going to need some help. you see, i’m... disorientated.”

She smiled at Raines who seemed polite enough not to pry. Fang's memory holes weren't all that bad it seemed. She looked to the weak man and just chuckled when he thanked her. Thanking her for killing orphan and turning into the fabled monster Ragnarok to crystallize their planet. Some people were odd, then again it wasnt unappreciated she sighed at the heat, obviously noting that the sun was gaining height in the sky, which meant High noon was approaching and thats when the heat of the day would reach is pinnacle. Running a hand through her jet black hair she stretched her stiff body, and then allowed her Jade eyes to flit back to Cid's form. He was not in the best of shape and this weather was not going to help him at all. She was going to end up moving his butt to the inn even if it made him angrier than a behemoth with a thorn in its foot.
"Aye, its been a year Sweetheart." she reaffirmed him and his revelation. "Time passes much faster than you think when you're crystal, and seemingly when yer dead as well" she commented idly as she rubbed her temples. One year had passed, her mind drifted to her family, Lightning, Snow, Hope, and Sazh.. she wondered where they all were.. If they even would remember herself and Vanille when they all met up. However she couldnt worry herself over that right now. At the moment she had something else to focus on. Someone who did remember her at the moment. Raines was a good guy, and so she would help him out. The sky above the two lacked clouds which meant well.. today was going to be a long hot and hazy day here in the royal city. People around them seemed to give them odd looks here and there but, they didnt seem to ask.
"No, I believe ya Sweetheart, Ya look like youve been through hell, and back. I could believe ya when you said you were assisted with suicide. Not that I think ya should've taken that route." she replied to him with a small chuckle. The accent in her voice was becoming a bit more pronounced as she relaxed around the man known as Cid raines. She paused and sighed, looking like she wanted to ask something but keeping it in, for the sake of the fact that he was weak, disoriented and couldn't walk without assistance. When he commented on needing help, she could only give him a grin that made her live up to her name of Fang, a feral grin that seemed to be almost natural on her features as she slung an arm around her shoulder and she supported his weight. Fang herself seemed to assume that most of the weight came from the obscene amount of clothing the man was wearing on his back.
The walk to the inn was slow going, as she made sure he wouldn't hurt himself and she was also trying to stay in shaded areas of the city until she came across the square. Between her and her goal, was a stretch of scorching hot cobblestone where not even the most heat resistant people would dare to walk. She silently glared at the sky for not having any clouds today. She looked at Cid and chuckled, "I think we're headed through No-man's land to get to the damn Inn. Brace yerself sweetheart." she said with a rather amused laugh before she suddenly by some foreign show of strength had lifted the man clear off the ground. She growled a bit before setting off at a not so dead run but as fast as she could get herself going across the flat barren area in the town. Now she expected Cid was probably going to try and hit her for unexpetcedly picking him up and carrying him across the stretch.
But as they arrived at their destination she shot him a grin as the door was opened for her, and she set him down on a chair. "Told ya to hold on." she said with a grin before sitting down herself. It was shocking, the temperature difference here compared to out there was easily noticeable. With a nod she asked for just two glasses of water. Keeping hydrated out here was easily a priority. As the woman returned with the water she gave Fang a nod and smiled before walking away. Fang was sitting across from Raines and she set the water in front of him. "Drink up Raines, Keepin' hydrated is a must out here." she sipped her water and sighed. She wondered where her Family was, if they were safe, and if they even remembered herself and Vanille. However Raines did give her a bit of hope that they would remember her, Raines was dead and he somehow returned to life and knew who she was.

“- and seemingly when yer dead as well.”
but, being dead was just like sleeping. and you were never able to tell how long you were asleep for (though cid didn’t have any doubts that it was possible, after all, some people were able to do odd things) but then again, you never woke up when you were dead. never... but it wasn’t impossible. so he had just contradicted himself. but, whoa. a year had passed, and that was a long time. three hundred and sixty five days. twelve months. the primarch would’ve calculated how many weeks that was, but an irritating ache had started in his head.
the next thing fang said, her true accent was more pronounced. was she perhaps relaxed around him? it seemed long ago now when she was on the lindblum, where she was tense most of the time and her accent didn’t come out as much, unlike rygdea’s. he was mostly laidback, and so his accent often came out easily. he had to admit that although most accents were irritating noise to his ears, they were all quite fascinating, even his own, which he found quite boring, but people were able to understand him easier, plus it helped him give a tone of seriousness to his voice.
hold on, had she given him a nickname? ‘sweetheart’? cid never even thought that the huntress would give him a nickname, but, it seemed that fang had forgiven him. he was glad for that, but who else would forgive him?
when she paused in her words, letting out a sigh, he couldn’t help but notice that she wanted to ask something, but he wasn’t able to ask what for a grin – one that made her live up to her name of ‘fang’ – had appeared on her face, natural on her features. without a second to try and think why, the dark haired man felt his arm slung over the woman’s shoulder, supporting his weight. huh, the huntress must be pretty tough to be able to hold his weight... which mostly came from his uniform, though it was a bit of a help when enemies tried to knock him off his feet, not that he wasn’t sturdy.
the walk, because he tried to keep balanced with fang’s support, was slow. he could tell that the dark haired woman was making sure that he wouldn’t hurt himself by managing to fall over (but with the strength he could sense from fang, he was almost sure she would manage to catch him even if he did trip and stumble). after a while cid noticed that she was keeping to shaded areas, and as his ghostly eyes flickered up to the sky he realised why. it was high in heat due to it being the peak of noon and he was also heavily clad in clothes. he was glad that she was taking care of him.
“ i think we’re headed through no-man’s land to get to the damn inn. brace yerself, sweetheart.”
an amused laugh echoed in his ears and he felt himself lifted up off the floor by some unknown strength that fang held within her. the sudden movement of being grabbed and lifted off the ground mad him freeze instead of doing what some people would expect – which would be to hit fang for unexpectedly lifting him up. but he didn’t, he was half-frozen but he almost clung to the pulsian huntress, almost in shock from the great amount of strength she had within her for being able to pick him up.
“told ya to hold on.” she said, and cid felt himself set down in a chair in the inn. he shook his head lightly, almost like a child, almost like a dog, trying to dismiss the shock that ran through his head. it took cid a while to return to reality, and he quickly noticed the change in temperature. it was significantly cooler here in the inn, quite like that of the temperature of the lindblum... when you were no way near the engine room.
“drink up raines. keepin’ hydrated is a must out here.”
he reached out and took the glass of water, lifting it up to his lips and sipping it, his phantom green coloured optics watching the huntress, eyes showing barely any emotion.
“there was something you wanted to ask me, am i right?” he asked, keeping the glass of cool water in his hand as he kept sat up straight. naturally, because when he was a child he was taught proper manners, and thus that carried on to adulthood. he was however to relax. it was easy, but it was going to take a while until his body allowed him to do so.
