In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The city of Alexandra was rather lovely just like the city-state of Baron. The whole area seemed to welcome in the darkness that seemed to be consuming these lands without much resistance. Alexandria seemed much bigger than any city she had seen before, and in turn its distortion seemed grimmer than the fair Baron. The buildings were slowly falling apart; shingles of the roof fell off the buildings and made pretty little decrypted piles along the sides of the streets. Other buildings had just collapsed on themselves, leaving piles of dust and rubble in their wake. The residents of the town were just like those living in Baron; the hope and life of the people had died down almost to a dull glisten. While Rydia had never seen the city as its brightest, this surely had to be one of the lowest points for Alexandria. The sky itself had dulled with its many shades of gray that seemed to try to feed the gloominess of the situation. It was just a decaying gem within this wasteland of a world that was soon to fall to its doom. It was all rather lovely.
Like usual, the girl seemed to be burst with energy. In the darkness and despair of the city, she seemed to be happily skipping about with a bright smile. After leaving Baron with Cecil, she was supposed to stick close to him but curiosity got the best of the young girl. Places she was familiar with seemed to all disappear, including Eblan and Fabul. It would be fairly amazing to see if her friends were taking their world ending as well as she was. They had fought so hard to protect the world long ago, and now things seemed to instantly deteriorate. It would be ashamed if they were trying so hard to revive it since it was the will of everything for the end to come. Her parents had seemed to jump onto such a fate opposed to trying to stop it like last time. If they wished for it to happen, then it was her responsibility as a good daughter to accept the end with a bright smile as it ripped her to sunder.
This town seemed to only half accept such a fate. At least it seemed like some accepted the hostilities that came with the end of the world. Just like Baron, there was a giant castle with knights walking about, however, the knights here weren’t looking to protect people. Instead they seemed to be getting into a fight with some innocent civilians. The green haired girl couldn’t help but skip towards the crowded town square where the squabble was happening. There was one man who seemed to snap, beating up young ruffians almost to the point of death. Such violence had turned his comrades against him as they tried to save the boys and capture their friend. ”How dangerous,” the girl commented, giggling. She inched closer to the action as the man swung his sword wildly about. If he was going to die, a few others would too. He seemed to accept the fate of they all were going to die in this forsake land. She inched closer again, stepping out of the crowd only to get into the action by accident. When her arm got slashed from the tip of the blade of those men trying to subdue the insane male, she cried as she fell to the ground. Even if she accepted the end of the world, she still didn’t like pain. She cried loudly as she raised her injured arm, summoning lightning bolts all around her and instantly stopping the fight. It wasn’t long before the desperate man died to take the crying summoner as a hostage. Rydia’s tear filled eyes looked up at the wild man then down at the blade next to her body. What was she going to do in a situation like this? It was so dangerous and a bit fun!

She never thought she would have ever returned here...
Ouranus was in a hurry when she left Alexandria the first time. It wasn't about losing hope for the people, but it was out of safety. She ordered her siblings to run as far from their family home as they could. The citizens that once she considered friends were no longer friends. They were something else...something monstrous. It was like the mist had actually seeped into their very spirits, turning them into ravenous creatures ready to kill just about anything that would give them a reason to act. But as they poured into the house, Ouranus stood tall against them. Taking up her mother's sword, she fought for what seemed to be forever. After that, she had to grab whatever she could carry light and leave. It was no longer safe in Alexandria since the attack and she no longer had a home.
But the reason why she had returned was because she needed to see for herself that there was some kind of information about her brother and sisters. She had to look for some kind of sign, something that they would only know. They would leave behind traces that only they would know so in case they were ever separated, it can show they were not only okay, but also close by. Putting her hand on the stone, she shook her head and sighed softly. There was barely any sign that the rubble could only tell as she studied the lay of the land. Holding her blade's hilt, she seemed to be looking around cautiously. She had a feeling there was going to be trouble soon and she wanted to be ready.
And like clockwork, the feeling was confirmed when she heard what could only be called a crash. But it didn't sound like stone falling, so it had to be something else. Pulling the sword out of her sheath, she ran in the direction of the crash and saw the girl now being held captive. As she watched the girl, something in her heart and head brought her back to one of her younger sisters and it made her bark out to the man. "Hey! You leave that girl alone now!" She pulled her sword out of her sheath, looking like she was ready to battle against the enemy. She felt the will of her mother go through her as she held the sword. She was ready to help this girl, though she was not of Alexandria. But it didn't matter to Ouranus. She was in trouble and Ouranus was going to do whatever it took to help her out.

In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The air seemed suddenly so still that it was almost intolerable. The men around her that stood against her captive had such painful looks on their faces that it made her want to frown. They couldn’t decide whether or not to attack since they didn’t want to risk her life. It was so sweet how some strangers were so nice even when the end was nigh. It was rather inspiring. But the man’s maniac laugh kept her from smiling. She could manage to keep her sanity even as the world around her crumbled (at least she thought she kept her sanity), so why couldn’t an adult do the same. They always seemed to feel crush under the pressure of bad things happening. One of her wimpy friends did the same, crying over his lost love and destroyed castle. Back then such an act disgusted her because he couldn’t move on; she was able to prevail after her mother and town were killed before her and she was a child. Now she was an adult looking child and she still managed to stay calmer when facing oblivion opposed to the adult male with his sword around her neck. While the men started to back away as her captor started to draw closer, a heroine appeared shouting for Rydia’s freedom. The green haired maiden moaned as she looked at the newcomer. It was rather unexpected that someone not dressed in heavy armor start barking orders. The new heroine might be considered idiotic for such a bold move, but it wasn’t too long ago Rydia was screaming the same types of things. Her views were distorted thanks to Calamity, but bravery was still something she saw in a good light. A soft smile appeared on her lips as she looked at the person coming to save her. ”S-stay back! I said stay back! I’ll kill her! I will! I’ll kill you all, monsters!” Rydia’s smile disappeared as a more deviant one appeared. His mind seemed to be torn apart by the mist. She knew the fog covered these lands did bad things to people. It did bad things to her family, changing and distorting her beloved mother and father. The effects on humans weren’t as becoming it seemed. The Eidolons seemed to get stronger with the presence of Calamity while the fragility of human showed through. She started to wonder if she was just like the humans around her, or had she become more like the Eidolons. ”It’s too late. They already have you,” she whispered lowly so that only the man could hear, sending him into a tirade. The man seemed to give up on the hostage situation, pulling his sword away from her neck to choke her instead. The guards drew near but the thought of being devoured by whatever monsters gave him extra strength. He was somehow able to hold the green haired girl up by her neck using her as a shield with one hand and his sword with the other. His sights were soon turned towards the woman who dared to yell at him. Rydia’s emerald eyes found themselves closing slowly to her dismay. It was so hard to breathe but she wanted to see what was going to happen next!a

Oh this is bad...
Ouranus already could see in the eyes of the leader that there already started to act in an erratic fashion. This was either going to end with the leader killing everything that moved, or she would have to put him down as well. She saw that level of ferocity in the citizens of Alexandria. They were no longer people, at least in the sense any person would consider humanity to be. There were more ferocious, animal like in nature than ever before. Her words had fallen on deafened ears. Ready to bear their teeth towards Ouranus as they seemed to be pouring out of the doorway while she fought them all off as her brothers and sisters ran out of harm's way.
Ouranus had to act fast against the man who had now began to strangle the green haired girl. A normal strike was not going to give her what she needed though. So she needed to show a little bit of awe herself. Putting the face of her blade near her face, she spoke softly under her breath. "Abadon, use the flame of my soul against my enemies." As she said that, the edge of her weapon started to spark and was engulfed in fire. She needed to act fast or else the girl was going to die. Running headlong into the army, she was going to aim for the man's sword. All she needed to do was to force this man to focus on her. If she was successful, then all the attention would be gone from the green haired girl. All the while she charged, there was something in her eyes. Something that made her almost seem more than what these men were. She may have been a part of something traumatic, but she was not going to allow anyone else to fall prey to it.

In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There was a crackling of magic; Rydia could feel it. Having spent so much time honing her skills and staying with the Eidolons, she was sensitive to the act. The air always felt different for a split second when a spell was cast; it was like surge in static electricity. It always made the air smell fresh for a moment. Her emerald green eyes caught sight of a flickering flame as her eyes closed. The flame seemed to be coming closer as they sealed shut. Cecil might have been right about the people in different lands having odd magical powers since that fireball seemed to move so slowly and it was shaped more like a candle’s flame rather than a fireball. She wished she could learn more about the odd magics Alexandria had, but she felt way too sleepy suddenly to keep watching.
The odd girl in the man’s hand went completely limp, almost instantly becoming heavier. She was dead weight now, but he still couldn’t let her go. They would all kill him since the monsters around him wanted fresh meat, not dead meat! He swung her body towards the soldiers, trying to force them back, but one didn’t seem to care about his human shield. The woman broke through the line with her flame sword and came at him with full strength. She didn’t go for him or his hostage, but his sword. The amount of force behind her burning sword caused his sword to drop. Immediately, the man panicked, tossing the girl towards the woman as he scampered towards his sword. But before he could even pick it back up, the soldiers had charged him and slain him on the spot. They had to make sure some other helpless girl wasn’t taken hostage.
Rydia woke up as she felt herself being jerked around and bumping into a fleshy wall. Her eyes slightly opened as the world came into a fuzzy view. There was a woman with a weapon right beside her. “Mother…” she moaned softly. It felt like magical powers were in use, but all she saw was someone with a weapon. The only person, or rather being, that fit such a description was Asura. She was more than capable with a sword, even in her spirit form. Her spinning mind felt panicked and happy all at once. All this time she was hoping Cecil’s thoughts on the strange events were right; she wanted to believe that this wasn’t their world. But if Asura was around then destruction really was drawing near.

"..."
Ouranus didn't say anything as the flames on her sword died down to nothing but embers. But she knew that she had to act quickly. The way the leader had acted, it showed that he was more than willing to kill the green haired girl. In her heart, she knew these men were not really a soldier. Soldiers would have done their best to keep her at bay. This man was nothing more than a thief and so he folded just as quickly. As she watched the man throw her to Ouranus, she immediately caught the green haired girl in her arms, lowering her weapon in the process as she used her arms to keep her from landing on the ground with a thud. She looked at the soldiers and then spoke. "I'll take care of the girl," she said with a nod.
Sheathing her weapon, she picked the girl up in her arms and made her way down to the remnants of an inn. It wasn't much, but at the very least it was better than being put down on the hard ground. The girl clearly had been through a lot, she must have been hallucinating when she was talking about her mother. As she panted softly, she laid her down on the bed and looked outside to see if the coast was clear. She couldn't take the risk of having to deal with either monsters or other thieves. But it seemed that for the most part she was going to be unconscious and probably coughing up a storm, but she needed to be sure that she was going to be okay. That was her top priority at the moment: the well being of this girl. For the most part she seemed very peculiar. She had traveled for a while, so she had somewhat of an understanding about how someone looked and not was from a specific area. Especially since she was in the same boat herself when she went to the Northern areas. But she is not one to judge. Her well being was more important than where she was from. Grabbing a chair, she sat down on it and waited to see how she was.

In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Her lungs were once again normal filling with air, though she was wheezing. Strangulation was a new experience for the young summoner; it would be something she attempted to avoid from now on. Weak and meek coughs escaped her lips as she laid still on the bed. She wasn’t completely unconscious, but she wasn’t exactly conscious either. With Alexandria full of light mist, it was hard to keep cognizant. She stirred in the soft white cot, moaning and groaning in pain. It took a good moment before her eyes opened, and even still the emerald eyes looked like those of a sleepwalker, opposed to someone awake.
Rydia turned and looked at the person to her side, puckering her lips and moaning. She was sure she saw Asura beforehand. The warrior queen of the Eidolons had to be near because she felt destructive forces and magic, but only saw a blade. She had temporarily forgotten about Cecil’s warning about different magic possible in these foreign lands. ”Excuse me,” she said politely, ”have you seen a woman with long brown, almost red hair, fair skin, and a dazzling smile? She carries a blade with her at all times…” She wasn’t too sure why there was a stranger near her bed, but it would be rather helpful if she had met Asura. Though her mother didn’t trust most humans, so it was possible the woman resting in the chair hadn’t seen her.
Little Rydia suddenly started coughing a storm before her eyes turned back to normal. The green haired maiden moaned then shook her head, trying to get rid of any of the fogginess that remained. Her eyes blinked repeated as she looked around. Her lips puckered as she looked down at herself, then the stranger, then the ruined inn. Cecil was nowhere in sight. She moaned again, tapping her chin. There was a problem somewhere in this situation. Did Cecil leave her, or did they somehow get split up? ”Umm, hello,” she moaned shyly. ”Who are you?” Asura wasn’t supposed to be in this world, so whatever she thought happened couldn’t have. She probably shouldn’t have gone wondering off from Cecil to dangerous places. Why was she even attracted to dangerous things? Such behavior wasn’t something she normally experienced. Her body felt feverish again, but the fever was slowly subsiding. Maybe there was something about this city, or maybe this world that was making her feel odd.

"Miss?"
Ouranus watched as the green haired girl started to stir. She breathed a sigh of relief knowing that the girl was going to be okay. But it seemed that the girl was a little bit off though. She seemed to be alright for the most part, but she wasn't all of the way awake. Instead she almost appeared to be in a trance to Ouranus. Was it because she was delirious still from being almost choked to death by her captor? Or was it something else? But she did know that in a trance like this, she shouldn't break her out of it. Perhaps there is a reason behind why she is in this trance.
As she looked at her, Ouranus blinked a couple of times when she asked that question. She didn't really say it at first, but the description was oddly familiar. Though it wasn't what the green haired girl was probably looking for, there was only one woman in her mind that matched her description in her own way: Beatrix. Save for the exception of the eyepatch, the description was close to the general of the forces of Alexandria. She did not know much, but she knew that her mother regarded her as one of the best knights of Alexandria who can handle a sword. But for now she didn't really say a word though. She wasn't really sure if the girl would actually remember while she was in this state. She might actually think that it was simply a dream.
Like clockwork she had snapped back to reality. She remembered to keep the question that she had asked her while in her trance in the back of her mind. If she posed the question again, she would tell her who she knew that somewhat matched the description that she had given her. Nodding politely, she gave the green haired girl a kind smile. "Hello there, I am glad you are alright," she said with a polite voice. Looking into her eyes, her golden eyes had a light about them as she held a true expression of sincerity. "My name is Ouranus Nova, I am a citizen of Alexandria. Although, there isn't much of the city left. It had been dealt a severe blow," she said with a sigh. It was strange that she would find her here. There was plenty of insanity in this land, a kingdom that was torn apart from inside. She held her hand out to her as she then spoke once more. "If you do not mind me asking, what is your name?"

In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - For a denizen of Alexandria, the lady sitting next to her seemed normal. When first entering Alexandria, nothing and no one seemed normal. The city was rather gloomy, much gloomier than Baron had become. She wasn’t too sure why people here seemed so disheartened. Baron had been struck with affection with that poisonous water, but Alexandria didn’t seem to have some disease present. Their water supplies were clean looking. The only possible thing that could have happen was the fact the city was in slight ruin. It was like several others cities she had seen during her travels in her own world after the Red Wing had stolen a crystal. But if those cities were able to rebuild then she was sure the people of Alexandria could overcome a few buildings that had been stripped into rubble.
It wasn’t like she was new to the feeling of hopelessness. Had people survived the disaster of Mist, Rydia would have rallied to have her hometown rebuilt. As long as there were people alive to bond together for a common goal, the green hair summoner couldn’t understand their disheartening tones. Tragedies happened to be overcome. It wasn’t like the Eidolons had appeared in front of all to let them know the end was coming like they did with her in regardless to her home world. This may or may have not been the world Alexandria was from, but if the citizens came together they could overcome.
Minus the mist… The mist covering these lands was always going to lead to problems even after rebuilding.
”I’m Rydia!” she cheered happily. Having finally recovered from the effects of the mist, she was back to her chirper self. Her body swung to the right so she could properly introduce herself. While she knew better than to get up too fast thanks to what happened back in Baron, she could still give a nice greeting from the bed. ”It’s very nice to meet you, Miss Ouranus,” she said carefully as not to mispronounce the woman’s name. It was easy to offend people when she said their names wrong. Her eyes shifted to the ruined wall and ceiling that were next to the lady as well as piles of rubble across from the woman. They were still in Alexandria from the look of things, which was good. Cecil was probably still in the city looking for her, and there was a chance her mother was around but in her spirit form. A low moan came from Rydia as she tried to work out things in her head.
”There wasn’t a man in white armor nearby, was there?” she asked innocently.
She was sure she had seen Asura save from that man her during her lucid state. If that were the case, she knew her mother trusted Cecil. So if he was at this inn, she wouldn’t have any issues leaving the unconscious Rydia in his care. And Cecil was amazingly patience so he usually stayed beside her until she awoke. He had done it when she was much smaller and he had kept close to her after the fever in Baron. But maybe something had come up and he asked the nice woman beside her to look after her. Or maybe he went to investigate the city? They were traveling for a purpose, but it was moreso a purpose for Cecil than herself. Rydia happened to be like a little loyal puppy than anything. She wasn’t a king that could make alliances or of any importance.
Her lips twisted into a slight frown. She didn’t like being split from Cecil. It made her feel alone. If he and Asura were somewhere in this city, she wanted to find them both quickly so she wouldn’t be alone anymore. Her childish nature desired something familiar near at all times. ”Er, he didn’t leave with a pretty woman did he? One armed with a blade?”

"It is a pleasure to meet you Rydia."
Ouranus had a kind smile on her face as the green haired girl happily chimed her name. At the very least, she was okay. She had been concerned that the trance that Rydia was in was a result of having too much of her breath taken away from the man trying to strangle her. But still she was more than happy to tell her about what was going on around her. For the first question, she shook her head as she spoke softly. "Sorry, there is no one here that matches that description. Guards saw how you were captured, but I stepped in so that the man could be stopped. But I have not seen anyone with that description."
When she did go back to the question of the woman, Ouranus seemed to have a much more contemplative state with that question than the first one. "Well, I'm not sure if this is the woman that you are looking for, but there is someone that matched that description somewhat." She stood up and looked to the distance, her silver hair lightly catching the breeze when she stood up. "There is a woman, the leader of the military forces of this kingdom: Beatrix. She is one of the best when it comes to a blade. A woman that my mother wanted me to aspire to in the art of battle." As she ran her hand through her own hair, she continued to speak. "She carries a sword with her, and she has brownish hair. However, unless you are looking for someone who wears an eyepatch, I do not think that she is the one you are looking for." She turned to face Rydia after finishing. She had a curious expression on her face but it had a hint of innocence to it. She wasn't going for some kind of interrogation. She was genuinely curious about this girl and who she was. "Who are you trying to find? Have you lost family as well?"

] In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rydia started to reassess her situation. She wasn’t too sure where she had left Cecil when the mist crazy finally caught a hold of her when they got to the city. And she wasn’t sure how this woman stepped in to help. If she meant that she came and fought the man who held her hostage, then she was in good hands until she found her dearest companion; however, it also meant that Asura was not wondering this world in her spirit form. It was probably better if Asura wasn’t here considering her persona the last time they were near each other, but the childish girl wished for her parents to be around regardless if they would bring even more ruination to the world.
However, there was someone that looked and sounded like her mom about. She had an eyepatch, but who was to say that Asura couldn’t wear one if she wanted to. She picked fashion that she felt that suited her when she was in her human form opposed to anything she needed. An eyepatch wouldn’t inhibit her sight simply because the whole body of a human was just a costume opposed to her real self. ”Be-a-trix,” she muttered lowly, pronouncing each syllable carefully. She needed to be sure to remember that name. She couldn’t be sure if Asura would be wondering about in this world under an alias or not. Her parents did like to have their presence felt in this world.
The woman continued on, asking who she was trying to find. From the wording of her questioning, it seemed she was along in this new mist covered world, too. A deep frown formed on her face as she looked at her with her large emerald eyes. ”Yes… My, uh, parents tried to save me by sending me away when the mist came but I don’t think it was for the better.” Her tone was a bit on the depressive side as her bottom lip poked out. She was so happy in Feymarch with her Eidolon family. No one seemed happy in this world. Everyone was suffering in one form or another and she couldn’t but feel sorry them all. It was in her nature to want to help everyone, but she also had the pestering other of apocalyptic doom in the back of her mind. With Baron and Alexandria in such rough shape, who was to say this wasn’t the natural order of the new world. But as long as this wasn’t the doomed existence her parents spoke of, maybe there was a way to bring happiness to the bleak world.
”The man I spoke of, in white armor, he’s my dear friend. His name is Cecil Harvey. He is the King of Baron… I came here with him but I got separated somehow…” she shook her head lightly. There wasn’t too much worry since Cecil wouldn’t leave the city without her. She was lost in this city so he would come and find her, somehow. ”Umm, Miss Ouranus, how did you lose your family? Did they get separated here too with all the mist and…” She stopped midsentence. Saying everyone here was a bit mad was unfair since the lady in front of her was quite sane. Even some of the other guards that tried to save her were sane. And all the female guards in the front of the city were pretty coherent. But not everyone avoided the effects of the mist, including herself. With several sections of the city crumbling it was probably harder to keep the mist from seeping into the city, making protecting people from madness harder.

As soon as Ouranus heard that Rydia was talking about the mist, things started to become very peculiar but interesting. The silver haired girl listened intently as she told her about how her parents left her in the mist. Could she be from this world? The kingdom she had referred to wasn't something she recalled. She knew of some of the kingdoms, Lindblum included, but Baron was unfamiliar to her. Was it an older kingdom from her world? Or did the mist actually traverse into multiple realms of existance? She kept this in mind so that she could be able to learn more about Rydia.
However, when she talked about her own family's fate, she stayed silent at the moment. She looked at the ground as she spoke. "The mist was coming in closer to the kingdom, so my mom and dad went out to defend the kingdom. I was the oldest so I remained behind to watch my siblings. However, as days turned into weeks, I was worried that I never will see my family again. I imagined the worst, but even in my wildest delusion..." she shook her head as she remembered what happened. "People that we once considered friends stormed our home. I told my brothers and sisters to run while I stayed behind. What I saw was not people who forgot about us, but people who became feral. I couldn't tell you their ultimate desire was because I cared about was making sure my family was safe. So in order to defend, I had to fight. I wasn't how long I was fighting, but all I knew is that at the end my blade was covered in blood."
She sighed as she looked up at Rydia. "So I have been traveling like my father had. But this time I was trying to understand why this happened. What I learned is that there are a lot of civilizations out there, some were along the lines of my kingdom in terms of time. But there are plenty of places that are very advanced. I have been trying to learn how to wield the technology of another world. Hopefully I can find some kind of information to help stem the mist back. I don't want what happened with me happen again."

In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Miss Ouranus’s story was very sad. It must have been hard to be responsible for her whole family when there were people trying to harm them. Her mother had the same burden, but unfortunately it ended in her demise. Miss Ouranus was rather lucky to be the person slaying opposed to another dead body. Asura would be proud of the silver haired woman for such a feat. Asura was always one to support defenders of family. Even with the madness the mist seemed to cause to the Eidolons and Calamity’s arrival, Asura still tried to keep Rydia safe somehow. It was just lack of knowledge that sent Rydia into a chaotic ruined human world opposed to Asura being hard on her adopted daughter.
”Mmm, mm! Cecil is trying to do that!” she cheered, ”Well, not exactly take their technology but get people to bond together. The mist makes a lot of people scared and uncertain and even had darker effects.” Rydia frowned as she hugged herself. The thickening mist always made her feel weird and she did things that she didn’t she would do if otherwise. Running into danger was against her usual protocol since she was usually secretly scared of things. That’s why she had a habit of being somewhat shy towards strangers though she tried her best to be friendly. And while she accepted the end, she wasn’t trying to bring it herself.
”We came here so he could speak to the ruler or whoever is in charge in Alexandria. I wonder if he went to the castle even though we got separated,” she mumbled, twiddling her fingers nervously. She didn’t like the idea of being lost in town all by herself while Cecil went out to the castle alone. There was no telling what kind of people were waiting for him there. Nice and kindhearted people changed thanks to the mist. The female guards in the front were nice, but apparently the few male guards had been affected harder by the mist than they were. Or maybe people deeper in the city had succumbed to the madness. It was just so hard to tell.
”Uh, Miss Ouranus, do you know people in the castle? Have you seen them since your return?”

"Your friend Cid sounds like a good person."
She smiled kindly and then began to think about the Mist in general. "I think both of our mists are now mixed together. When the mist came, people did start to get concerned. But it's not just the people changing to be worried about." She looked down at the ground as she spoke to describe to her about her world's mist. "The mist we had was from this massive tree from what I could determine from information gathered by my father. More importantly, the roots of the tree reached all over the world. There is not one place that wasn't touched." She then had a somber expression as she then added something more unnerving. "On top of that, where ever the mist was, monsters appeared in greater numbers. There's something in the mist that attracts them. I never knew what though."
When Rydia asked about the ruler of Alexandria, she smiled and then looked outside. "That would be Queen Garnet," she said with a cheerful tone. But then she sighed softly. "However, I do not know if she is okay though. I honestly hope that General Beatrix was able to pull her out before people started to go into a frenzy. Though people are enduring, a body can always be repaired to defend again. However, it is the soul that cannot take much." She turned as she looked up the ceiling. "If Garnet is dead, I would expect there to be mass panic. But I do have hope that she is okay. For the time though General Beatrix is making sure that everything is okay. I do know her, and I did wish to join the ranks of the knights to help my country. However, with everything that has happened I think there is more to be done. In a way I think my father would have understood why I needed to travel to understand what is going on."

In The Great Shipwreck Of LifeWe All Fall Down - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - She said they had mist in there world that came from some tree that touched everywhere but this mist was different. Rydia could relate. There was mist in her world, but it was protective mist that came from Mist Dragon. It was dense and magical like the dense fog that blanketed this world, but it was extremely different. This mist summoned monsters, but she couldn’t tell if it was calling them in droves. Monsters existed naturally in her world. The mist that kept her city safe didn’t attract monsters. Miss Ouranus’s world sounded very dangerous. From her description, this was a new planet to her people too, but it seemed more similar to Alexandria’s world than Baron. ”Be-a-trix,” she muttered again slowly. She said the same name of the lady that was like her mother as a general who was making things okay. Rydia moaned softly as she fidgeted it her seat. She felt anxious to find out if this person was Asura. There were a lot of similarities to this great female swordsman and her mother. ”Oh, oh! I hope she nothing has happened to your Queen Garnet. I would hate to think the mist attacks queens…” Something had happened to Rosa because of the mist. Who knew what other kingdom would have troubles because of the mist attacking their queen. The different kingdoms would really need Cecil to visit them if that were the case. ”Mmm, mmm, you must have really loved your father,” she clapped. ”He must have been very nice for you to want to relate to him after what’s happen.” Rydia offered her a happy smile. She loved Asura and Leviathan regardless of what they might have become and searched for any closeness she could get to them. It’s why she hoped that this Beatrix character was really Asura in disguise. ”Though, you’re really brave to leave alone. I didn’t want to leave my home. I would have happily stayed even if frenzy took over everyone completely. I’d miss every too much to just start anew. I guess it’s good I found Cecil or else I’d be very lonely and sad.”
