The footsteps of the guards stopped and in front of her stood a man with silvery blonde hair, a large sword sheathed at his side. His appearance made her stunned if only for a second as she looked at him as he looked just like Locke but only older and more holy man looking like. Her hand faltered and as she felt Rydia place her hand on her blade and this subtle tell was her way to tell her to put away her weapon. Celes happily complied with her wishes. Watching Rydia move and hearing her speak to him calling him Cecil.
If she had heard Rydia correctly earlier than this man before her was the king of this realm. Remembering back to her own world that bradishing a weapon at the king was a killable offense she kneeled down before him. Hearing Rydia call her Rosa once again made Celes a little angry but she continued to forgive her. But then Rydia explained her purpose there and Celes spoke up "Yes what Young Rydia said is true... I dove into the waterways and saved her from drowning by bringing her through the gate at the base of this tower. I also told her that I would accompany her to see this Queen Rosa to prove that I am not her."

Cecil's mind swam for several moments. First things first, he sheathed his sword and waved the guards away. There was no need for them any longer. He wished he could wave a hand and summon some random person who could explain it all to him. When he looked at Celes his mind went as blurry as the foggy world outside the gates of the castle.
"Ro..." he began, but Rydia's sudden correction caught him up short. "Celes, then? Thank you for helping Rydia. She is a dear friend, and I'd hate to see anything happen to her... I'm sure... that you wouldn't wish harm to come to her either, after all we've been through."
His words were slightly cryptic, and he couldn't keep the mystified tone from his voice. Somehow, hearing Rydia insist it made him believe it true. He tried to think... when had he last even seen Rosa? He had been claiming her to be unwell, but wasn't it a fact that he was sleeping in the royal rooms alone each night? When both of them insisted on going to see Rosa it came to a head and Cecil realized he would have to explain.
"We can go to Rosa's rooms, if you wish. Perhaps that will help the situation. As for meeting her... At the moment..." he gave Celes an odd look "... especially for you... that would be impossible."
He shook his head a little to clear it as he turned to lead them back up from the dungeons. Nothing in his mind could help him. His memories of Rosa fled whenever he tried to seize them. Nothing in his head could contradict Rydia in her assertion that this woman was Rosa, acting for some strange reason under a different name and apparently content to remain thus.
But, Cecil was no stranger to problems of the mind, what with the various betrayals and manipulations he had seen. He understood now why Rydia would so fiercely attach herself to this mysterious woman. Surely they would be able to find a solution and bring Rosa up from whatever depths of the mind she had been buried in.

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The energetic green haired girl couldn’t hold in her excitement. Even though she didn’t care for the current situation considering something had happened to her dearest Rosa, Rydia felt overjoyed. She was rather happy to hear Cecil say such a thing. He cared about her and he was pretty sure Rosa/Cecil cared too! Even if her parents weren’t around, there still were people around that loved her and wanted to keep her from drowning in random poisonous waters. If anything, Cecil and Rosa were her replacement for Leviathan’s and Asura’s absence; and the two kind adults would keep her safe no matter the state of this new world. Because of all the things they had been though, they developed a bond; a bond that even shined with Rosa’s current aliment.
”Yay! Let’s all go to Rosa’s room together,” she cheered.
Rosa would surely come to her senses once they got to her room. And if Celes wasn’t really Rosa, then the real Rosa would be waiting with her with open arms in her room. Rydia smiled happy even though Cecil’s words made her feel a bit uneasy. Why did he say it would be impossible at the moment, especially for Celes/Rosa? Rosa could meet Rosa if Rosa was really Rosa. All she needed was a mirror. It was ashamed Baron didn’t have some magical mirror that showed ones true self. The moment she started to think about such confusing things, her stomach turned and her face turned a bit pale. Drinking poisonous water wasn’t good for concentration either. The girl gagged as she doubled over for a moment feeling ill. She might have felt sick, but she could surely hold out for a few more moments till they got to Rosa’s room. Inside Rosa would either come to her senses or the other Rosa would heal her and everything would be better. And then the Stork would come and then Rosa and Cecil could be parents and Rydia could help them by being like a big sister just like Cecil did for her when she was smaller!
”Come on, come on Celes,” she giggled as she tugged on her hand, pulling her towards Cecil. Once Celes was by Cecil’s side, Rydia went skipping off back towards the stairs towards the higher floors of the castle were Rosa’s room was. Rosa’s room wasn’t too far from a spot she was calling her Secret Place. Baron was much different from when she left it, and since she couldn’t get to Rosa’s room before today she had explored the castle a bit to see the little changes since Cecil was a bit of a busy person being ruler and all. The people under him with their stuffy outfits always seemed to be pestering him. But no one seemed to mind her hanging out near a top of a tower. She wondered if Rosa’s room had the same view of the sky. ”Hurry up you two,” she called from the top of the stairs with her cheeks puffed out. The guards outside of Rosa’s door weren’t going to let her through without Cecil and Celes/Rosa. It frustrated her slightly that adults never seemed to rush.

Celes had been walking with Cecil slowly toward the chamber that the queen lived within. Looking over the king as they walked she took in the visage of the king. Long Blonde Hair, Shining Armor, A beautifully crafted sword at his side, and not to mention his features were quite handsome to her. There was something nibbling at her mind as if she was looking at a person who looked just like Locke. After their slow pace had taken them through the castle and to the room Celes stepped forward.
The guards at the door looked over at Celes, Cecil and at the green haired Rydia. Seeing as how the king was there along with several other people they stepped aside allowing them access to the room. Celes was apprehensive about entering this room. What if the queen was within and got angry at her for being such a dead ringer to her. Reaching for the doorknob she stopped and took a few steps back away from the door. Her mind was actually starting to believe the story that Rydia had told her.
So this was causing her apprehension to this entire process. "I believe that it would only be proper for the king to open the chamber of the queen. Following behind him will only be proper..." With that Celes stood behind Cecil and held her head with one of her hands. Her mind was starting to race as it started to believe Rydia.
