Celes had been walking for several weeks wandering through the mists of the world. From Figaro she had walked and walked stopping to get her bearing every now and again. Not knowing where she was day after day made her feel like she had after the Floating Continent. She was shaking as she entered a small town with a rather sizeable castle at the farthest end of it.
Entering the town she glanced around. At least there where people here so she was no longer alone. A smile crossed her face as she walked into the nearby inn. Seeing that there was a small cafe within the inn she walked over and ordered herself some food and a thing to drink. "Thank you sir... If you do not mind me asking what town is this?"
"Why miss you are inside the town of Baron one of the mightiest powers of the world... Or it was before this mist appeared." The barkeep responded to her before she walked with her food and took a seat. Eating her meal slowly she watched each and every person. She had seated herself near a window so she could watch all the interior and the small bit of the exterior of where she was. As she watched the people lethargically move around the city as if in automation she frowned wondering why it is that this town would have been spared from the Mist and everything she had known or held dear was gone.

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The green haired girl sighed as she stared at the water below the bridge. From a bystander’s perspective, she probably looked suicide. The green haired summoner was dressed in regular clothing thanks to her friend’s status. Being King meant he could get her clothes and places to stay, though she could have done the same if she had gil. But gil was fairly useless in Feymarch, making it a hard concept to remember to keep on hand. With a normal dress on, it was harder to tell she was some type of summoner or even a mage. With her hair up in a ponytail and a regular clothing for a teenage girl, Rydia looked age appropriate for once in her bright colored tights and wrapped skirt. The green tank top was much warmer than her usual leotard. It almost reminded her of her younger days when she got to travel to different places with Cecil. He wanted to go out in the world and travel together again. Wearing something like this almost felt appropriate.
Though, she was worried about leaving Baron. While she had recovered from whatever illness plagued her the first day she was here, Rosa seemed to be unwell still. She wasn’t allowed to see the Queen regardless of her welcomed state within the castle. Being within the castle seemed a bit odd; she could tell that some weren’t fond of her. She did somehow inspire their King to forsake their lands to travel the world to make allies. It was a probably a bad idea for a King to travel so much; they were supposed to stay peaceful in their castles and wait for travelers to come to them, not the other way around.
There was also the fact the water had something wrong with it, thus her current location. The lake surrounding the castle used to be quite beautiful. The waters sparkled like sapphires under the two moons adding to Baron’s magnificence. All that had changed due to the mist. The water below looked like dark tar drifting around the castle. Someone said that the wells were also infected with the mysterious poison. Maybe Rosa was sick before she drank the water or fell into the river below? Suddenly feeling uneasy, the small girl hoped back onto the safety of the bridge and rushed into town.
Though she was always welcomed in the castle, Rydia chose to stay at the inn she was brought to by Cecil. Staying at an inn just felt natural after her childhood. They were always traveling, so if they weren’t camping outside underneath the stars, the group got to sleep in some town’s inns. Returning to the inn, she was going to head to her room when something out of place caught her eye. Rosa was sitting by herself near a window, eating with a frown. There were so many things wrong with this picture that Rydia couldn’t even decide where to begin. Why was Rosa outside the castle if she was sick?! Why would Rosa ever frown?! The blonde haired queen was the happiest person Rydia knew. She was always kind with a gentle smile that encouraged the world. The green haired girl rushed over to the lonesome woman in a tizzy.
“Rosa! What are you doing here? I-is it okay for you for to be outside like this,” Rydia asked with great concern. She was almost taken back to the days of long ago in Kupo when Rosa seemed to push herself while traveling. Sometimes the white mage didn’t know when to quit.

Eating the meal was exhausting as most actions where becoming for her within this world. Her mind had drifted back to visions of Locke and how happy all of her friends had been just a few hours earlier. She had to choke back a few tears as she frowned as she sat and listened to the comings and goings around her. Having not noticed the young lady with the green hair walk into the bar. Pushing the plate away from her she glanced up and saw a young woman standing there.
"Terra?" Quickly her thoughts sprung up. ::Could she of survived this mist? Am I truly not alone anymore within this world, do I have my friends with me again. :: A smile crept across her face quickly as those thoughts entered her mind. Celes had spoke up looking at Rydia from the short distance that seperated the two of them. This was right after she heard Rydia speak up. :: Rosa? Who is this Rosa she is talking about? Could this person look identically to me? ::
Her thoughts came quickly and with several different questions all at once. Bringing a hand to her temple she rubbed it lightly as she straightened out her thoughts before speaking up. "My name is not Rosa my young friend. My name is Celes... I am sorry if you happen to think that I was one of your friends... I am also looking for several friends of mine and you remind me of one of my closest friends. Her name is Terra and she had quite striking green hair just like yours... But I can safely assume you are not my friend, so could I have the honor of knowing your name?"

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rydia stood there a bit unsure what was going on. Rosa was saying strange things like she wasn’t Rosa but instead that her name was Celes. She apparently recognized Rydia, but she seemed to think her name was Terra. Somehow, it seemed very off that they would know people that looked similar to one another, but they weren’t those people. Occasionally, people met others that looked like someone familiar, but usually the person mistaken for someone else didn’t have the same problem. The green haired girl moaned as she leaned in closer, putting her face almost next to Celes’s. She did sound different from Rosa, but they had the same kind mannerisms. She just wasn’t too sure to make of this situation.
”I’m Rydia…don’t you remember…” she mewed in disappointment. Cecil remembered her without doubt. He seemed a bit in disbelief when he saw her all grown up, but he hadn’t forgotten about quickly like Rosa seemed to do. Then again, Rosa seemed to forget who she was as well.
Her eyes opened widely as she suddenly remembered something Cecil said. When they had reunited after her departure from Feymarch, he told her of all the things that had transpired. Yang was a brave, strong man. She never thought he would be someone to forget who he was, but apparently after the shipwreck, the man got ill and suffered amnesia. He didn’t remember anything except his fighting skills, with the mind-controlled Golbez used to his advantage. The paladin didn’t mention in details how he got Yang to snap from such brainwashing, but Rydia suspected there was a frying pan involved. A frying pan woke him up from a sleeping coma…
But who would brainwash Rosa?
Maybe the blonde queen wasn’t brainwashed, but instead Rosa could have been confused by the mist. She did recognize Rydia, after all; the older woman simply confused her name for another. The young girl was confused on what to do. Was playing along with this mistaken identity charade best, or she should do something else? If anyone knew, it would be Cecil. Surely she wouldn’t forget him! ”Are you sure you don’t remember me? How about Cecil? He has silvery blonde hair, and taller than me. You two are in love,” she moaned lowly, a bit scared Rosa wouldn’t remember her husband. What was she going to do if she forgot she was Queen of Baron, too?

Watching the movements of the young woman and listening to her words continued to give Celes these feelings of extreme deja vu. That is when the young woman slid her face uncomfortably close to Celes'. Shifting her weight back Celes backed herself up just enough to maintain enough distance to make it safe to see that nothing illicit was going on. ::This is unusual... What is it that she wants? I do not know anyone with the name of Rosa... Closest thing I can recall would be that I tended roses so long ago in father Cid's garden but that was a lifetime ago and she could not know this even if it was Terra.::
Her thoughts where sorted out as she heard the young woman speak her name. "Rydia..." Celes spoke up her mind trying to recall if she had ever met anyone with this colored hair and had that name. Shaking her head she looked at the young woman. "I am sorry Young Rydia, but your name does not strike me as familiar..."
It was after her response that she heard Rydia speak of a man named Cecil. Long silverish blonde hair, taller than her, and that Celes and him where in love. It was at this point Celes was certain that Rydia had to of mistaken her for someone else. Her hand rested down on the longsword Lightbringer that she still carried on her side. "I still think you have me mistaken for a friend of yours who I am not. As for this Cecil I do not recall him. As the man who has my heart has jet black hair and a rather unique personality. What makes you think I am your friend?"
Her words coming out slowly and calmly trying to not show any outward show of annoyance or frustration. If there was something for Celes to do to prove to this young woman she would do it. From what this young woman was telling her and by her demeanor Celes guessed this friend of hers was quite a popular and loved figure.

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This was more serious than Rydia has surmised! Rosa completely forgot about Cecil; she probably didn’t even remember she was now Queen of Baron. It was a good thing the two never meet the Stork since it wouldn’t be very nice to forget she had a child with Cecil. To made matters worse, Rosa had fallen for someone else during her memory loss! Cecil would be heartbroken if he found out such a thing. She had already seen his spirits crushed upon her return from Feymarch. She didn’t care to see Cecil become a broken man. The two were so happy together and Baron celebrated their coronation. Such a breakup might lead to even more unrest in Cecil’s kingdom. He surely couldn’t leave to travel freely if such a thing happened…
And Rosa wasn’t going to join their happy traveling party if she thought they were two complete strangers…
”You look like her and you act like her. How can Rosa not be Rosa is Rosa is truly Rosa,” she said with a mighty pout. Her true age was starting to show, but in a situation like this Rydia wasn’t too worried about the opinion of others. Rosa and Cecil were like family to her since she had no other humans to call her kin. This predicament struck the cords of her heart.
”You’ve been in the mist, haven’t you? Cecil didn’t tell me the mist invaded the castle you were in…”
The mist was doing weird things to people. It made her feel weird and she got a bit sick when being in the thick of it for too long. Rosa must have been just as sensitive to it as she was. Though, Rosa was starting to act un-Rosa like as her fingers seemed to be touching the hilt of a blade. Rosa didn’t use a sword! She was a pacifist! Rydia seemed quite alarmed, having a minor freak-out within. Someone had turned sweet, kind Rosa into a deadly swordsman! What if there was some evil force trying to turn Rosa against Cecil? He wouldn’t harm his wife if she tried to slay him. Rydia had to fix this somehow… The young girl moaned as her eyes shied away from the blonde woman. There were some men around the bar looking at the two, and Rydia frowned. She couldn’t let anyone else see Rosa in this state. She had to fix this and quickly.
”Well, umm, Celes…do you mind coming with me for a moment? Rosa is supposed to be gravely ill and safeguard because of her condition. But after seeing you here, I don’t think that’s true.” Cecil had great healing magic, being a paladin, and there were mages all over the castle. If anything, she should have been allowed to see Rosa to say hello. But she was kept from Rosa’s room. Rydia wondered if Cecil had even seen his wife after the attack from the mist, or if his personal guards claimed she was too sick for visitors to keep him from growing suspicious of the fact the Queen had vanished. ”I think the people guarding her are lying and Rosa has been missing. Even if you are not, it’s very important to expose them as liars if they truly are because the real Rosa could be lost outside in the mist! Nothing good can come of that…”

Celes continued to watch and listen to Rydia. Each of her actions where those of someone who was truly much younger than the outward appearance. Allowing that snippet to pass through her mind Celes glanced around the small inn. It seemed that people where starting to look at the two of them with curious eyes. That made her nervous as not knowing where she was a large concern of hers. Then Rydia came to her question about being out in the mist. Celes nodded to Rydia and said "Yes I have been in the Mist... In fact I just arrived here in this small city no more than a few hours ago. I have been traveling for what seems to be weeks worth of time. The entire time I saw not another soul... Nothing but the mist."
It was only after a little bit of rambling from Rydia did Celes hear her call her by the correct name. Turning her head back she looked at Rydia in the face. The concern was quite apparent in the young womans face. After hearing what all she said Celes once again nodded. "I will assist you Rydia... Despite you mistaking me for your friend it seems you want to see if she is alright and that is a noble cause. Perhaps helping you find your friend will also aid me in finding some of my friends..."
As she spoke Celes did not notice the men approaching her from back. Two of them carried daggers while another had a short sword out. "I do not think you should be here young miss. That one you are talking to is an important friend of the kings. We cannot have you badmouthing her by pretending to be our queen." As soon as the words had left his mouth the two men with daggers attacked Celes. They both attacked her from her sides which she avoided by spinning up into the air and landing behind the third man. He struck out at her with her sword which made her duck down her hair getting caught by his blade. Rolling back in between Rydia and the men she turned to them.
"You think I was being disrespectful? I was not being disrespectful at all. In fact I volunteered to follow Rydia to find out what is wrong with the queen. But if you continue to insist on fighting me I have no choice. You just do not know who it is you are dealing with do you?" As her question to them left her mouth she raised her hands up pointed at the group of men. "Blizzaga." A swirl of dark magic came down spinning around the men freezing them to the ground in that spot. With a flick of her hands afterwards she turned and exited the inn.
Not knowing what Rydia's reaction to the display of magical power would be she had left rather abruptly. Celes started walking slowly toward the castle that was visible during this midday hour as the mist had lifted if ever so slightly.

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Celes/Rosa had agreed to help, and Rydia couldn’t have been happier. Even though she was sure Rosa was standing in front of her, she wasn’t too sure how she was going to convince Rosa that she was indeed Rosa and not this Celes character. She was hoping that somehow Rosa had somehow gotten out of the castle and been wandering about in the mist before returning. Wandering about in such dense mist could have just confused her into believing she was someone else. At least she could hope Rosa was just confused on who she was, alternative explanations seemed darker since Rydia couldn’t accept Celes truly being the person she claimed to be. Her voice might have been different, but if Rydia tried hard, she could sound different if she wished. If it wasn’t the fault of the mist, then Rosa might have been brainwashed by some dark haired man that she claimed she was in love with now. Surely she couldn’t fall in love with anyone but Cecil since they had been together since childhood. ”Thank you so…” Rydia started until she interrupted by some men coming to talk to Celes.
Things got out of hand unnatural fast. Rydia didn’t have time to protest how Celes wasn’t badmouthing anyone or the fact she really was the Queen but had a bit of a costume change. Instead, one person attacked and Rosa defeated him! Cecil was going to be very upset when he heard what happened; Rosa was suddenly a sword swinging black magic fighter woman! The pacifistic white mage had suddenly become a skilled swordsman like her husband. It wasn’t completely unheard of since she could probably learn to swing a sword if she had hung around Cecil for as many years as Rosa did. But the whole scene didn’t seem right. Rosa knew black magic, and she knew black magic spells as powerful Rydia. It took the girl a good moment to learn the more advance things. How could the mist or brainwashing give Rosa such powers?! It made the little green haired girl envious and slightly frustrated. If Rosa could learn black magic so easily, why did she want Rydia to learn [Fire] so badly?!
It could have been for situations like this since the two men needed to be thawed out.
Unfortunately for them, the young green haired girl had more important things to worry about: Celes/Rosa. She apologized to the block of ice the men had been frozen into and the bartender before rushing after the blonde fighter. Rydia felt obligated to apologize since Rosa clearly wasn’t herself. She didn’t even notice she had left without Rydia and headed straight towards the castle. Maybe she was starting to remember things like her way back to her true home instead of heading to it because it was easily spotted even from outside the town. But as Rydia caught up with the confident woman, she couldn’t help but feel uneasy. Cecil wasn’t going to take Rosa’s return happily if she was so dramatically different. The fact she forgotten him and claimed to love someone else would also be upsetting for Baron’s renewed king. As the two passed the bridge, Rydia quickly got in Celes’s way, waving her hands wildly.
”Ro- Celes! We can’t go through the front of the castle. I don’t think the guards are going to let us. Most don’t seem to fond of me, and you say you’re not the Queen even though you look like the Queen. And then they’ll call Cecil and then Cecil will get all confused, and then one of the knights will claim I’m being an evil mage mastermind because he’s crazy from the mist and then…” she started rambling. She stopped before she finished her story. She had a theory that Celes was Rosa but forgot because she had some of the poisonous water. The river below was all poisonous. She could try pushing Celes in it and hoping the poison would switch her back to Rosa, but that was mighty risky. Besides, pushing Celes into a river was going to cause a problem since they were going to save her somehow… ”We have to sneak in…somehow,” Rydia admitted in a rather down tone. She didn’t exactly have a grand plan. If Rosa was still a white mage, she could cast [Float] but things weren’t going to be that simple. Sadly, plans weren’t Rydia’s strong-point.

She had stopped some yards from the front of the castle as she awaited the young woman to catch up with her. :: Well I should not of done that... Showing to much power in such an area will just draw attention to myself which is what I do not want. I hope that Rydia makes it here shortly. :: Her thoughts moving quite fast she finished the thoughts as Rydia approached her from the direction of the inn.
A sigh escaped her lips before Rydia made it to her side. With that she continued walking until Rydia stepped in front of her. Then Rydia began talking to her about the castle and the queen. It was after a minute or two she mentioned something about sneaking into the castle. Celes thought for a minute before speaking. "Is there a way that the water enters and exit the castle? If there is perhaps we could use that to enter without being detected?"
An honest question as in her world the castles all had waterway entrances minus Figaro Castle. But that was because it was in the middle of a desert. Celes glanced down from the bridge and looked at the moat trying to see if she could find the water entrance.

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ”Edge always suggested climbing,” she mewed lowly as she looked up. Climbing might have been a good option if they wouldn’t be scaling a castle in front of castle guards. Such actions would have definitely had lead to a fight. She didn’t want Rosa to go around beating up more people. It was bad for the Queen of Baron to be picking on her subjects.
Rosa’s idea wasn’t a bad idea minus it required them to go jumping into a poisonous river. Poisonous waters meant they were both going to be poisoned the moment they got water into their mouth. And then the fact it was a river didn’t bode well for them either. Something similar happened to her when she was little, save it was dragon and the ocean. If it wasn’t for the fact Leviathan wanted to take her somewhere safe, she might have died that day. But Rydia trusted Rosa, even if her blonde friend was brainwashed or under some type of spell from the mist. Rosa couldn’t lead Rydia astray; even if there was a bit of danger, Rosa only let Rydia face such things because she knew she could overcome it.
”But if you think so, then water ways, here comes Rydia!” she shouted.
Her yelling did get the attention of the castle guards. And her jumping hopping up on the ledge of the bridge did alarm them. One quickly rushed inside to go notify the King while the other went to try to get the girl before she went to try to jump to her death. Rydia yelped as she noticed the man, quickly grabbing for Rosa’s hand. Instead, her aim was way off, sending the girl off balance and falling backwards into the black water below. Almost instantly, she tried to scream in the water, completely unprepared for her fall. Her lungs filled with the black substance, choking her. A few moments later she resurfaced, but it was easy to see she was having difficulties not being swept by the current.

Celes had been watching everything going on. Hearing her mention climbing the walls Celes spoke up in response. "I think scaling these walls without ropes, ladders, or anything to secure us to the walls would be a bad idea. Personally diving into that putrid water would be preferable than falling to our death..." As she spoke she continued to watch Rydia move around.
Turning to see Rydia starting to fall off the bridge. Her hand barely missed her own as she plummeted to the brackish water below. Shortly after Rydia hit the water Celes had ran to the edge of the bridge. Without even a second thought Celes dove off the bridge into the water. Upon hitting the water she luckily had held her breath so she did not consume any of the brackish water. Poking her head out of the water she saw Rydia struggling on the surface because of the current.
Always being a strong swimmer she managed to swim over and place her arm around Rydia; hoisting her up onto Celes' back. Celes then allowed the current to carry her to a small entrance off the side of the castle. Grabbing onto this grate she tried with her might and managed to move it enough to swing into the opening and make it out of the brackish water. Making it onto the small stairs that led to the water Celes collapsed forward tossing Rydia forward higher up onto the stairs.

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There weren’t any up-sides into falling into the black tar looking water. She almost choked to death upon her initial impact, and poisonous water tasted repugnant! If anything, she secretly hoped it was sweet and delicious since fairytales mention things like princesses eating poisonous apples. It should have been obvious from the first bit something was wrong rather than finishing the whole thing! Rydia felt her body stiffening up, unsure if it was the poison getting to work on her body or a side-effect of the fall. She was pretty sure the stinging pain was a side-effect of the fall. Hitting large bodies of water at odd angles never felt nice.
It wasn’t too long after her initial struggle that Rosa came to her rescue. The tiny green haired girl clung to the blonde for dear life. Her head struggled to stay on top the rushing rapid as she rested against Rosa. She choked, gagged, coughed, and wheezed as she made sure to stay on Rosa so there weren’t extra troubles with their half-cocked plan; Rosa’s plan probably never included saving a drowned Rydia and having to resuscitate her on dry land. The idea didn’t sound too favorable either. It wasn’t too long before Rosa pushed Rydia off her onto some stairs. The frail girl laid there, coughing and wheezing for a good moment before her stomach turned and she regurgitated the putrid waters. A few more coughs and heaves later, the sickly girl looked down at the exhausted woman.
”We…made…it,” she cheered weakily.
Her half opened eyes stared up at the dark colored ceiling. She hadn’t purposely came to the lower parts of Baron’s castle, but she could already guess what was close to here. ”We’re near…the dungeon?” she said in such a questionable tone it was almost as if she were asking for reassurance. Considering how Rosa lost her memory, she didn’t assume the older blonde would know. Being somewhere as bleak as the dungeon probably wasn’t going to bring back her memories either. ”I hope…there’s no…guards near.” The moment she finished her sentence, there were sounds of heavy footsteps in the distance.

Slowly Celes came to from her exertion of saving her own and Rydia's lives. The water had one heck of a draining feeling on her. Hearing the words of the young woman nearby meant she had saved her. The almost cheery words spoke up and placing her hand onto the stone stairs she pushed up as hard as she could. Using her might she pushed herself back to a standing. She was dripping wet and she was going to hate having to dry herself off later.
Then she heard that they where near a dungeon. A few flashbacks of the last time she was inside of a dungeon such as this made her apprehensive. Torture and other unmentionable things that she had endured. Closing her eyes she made the images disappear once again into the depths of her mind. Then came her hearing the words from Rydia stating she hoped there where no guards nearby.
"I hope you are right... As the size of this castle is quite immense it must have one large contingent of guards defending it. And if it is as you say that the queen is ill but the king is a good man and may listen to reason if you bring me to him... But I will follow your lead as I cannot find my way through here without stumbling into a guardpost or something..." As she was talking she did not notice the slowly increasing in volume heavy footsteps. Until the footfalls where almost on top of them. As they neared she drew her sword and moved in front of Rydia in front of the stairs to defend the two of them against whatever comes down the steps.
{{This is a good point for Cecil to join if he would want to. It is up to you to post first or after him there Rydia.}}

"Are you sure the mist cannot seep in through the waterways?" Cecil's voice echoed down the stairs. His heavy armored footfalls were echoed by one of his adviser's.
"We have seen none of it yet, my Lord, but we cannot be absolutely sure," the adviser was saying.
The two men reached the bottom of the stairs, the light of the torch they were carrying illuminating the two women standing nearby. The adviser fell back and Cecil placed a hand on the pommel of his sword. Cecil was not the sort to draw and attack first, but he did wish to be ready in case a threat was presented to the unarmored adviser accompanying him.
Then he relaxed. It was obvious who it was as soon as he caught sight of the brilliant green head of hair reflected in the torchlight.
"Rydia... what are you doing down here?" he asked in a slightly humored, slightly exasperated tone. He stepped forward, then took a look at the person standing next to Rydia.
There was a long pause as Cecil looked at that face, at that pale hair. His eyes narrowed slightly as if in slight confusion. He then slowly looked back to Rydia.
"Who is this with you Rydia? She... seems familiar..."

And When You Take My HandYou'll Know Exactly Where I Am - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
There were guards, lot of guards actually. A small yelp escaped her lips as she slithered behind Rosa to hide from the oncoming onslaught. She didn’t like the thought of Rosa clashing swords, especially with knights that were supposed to protect their Queen, but if they attacked the woman would reaction and Rydia could only back her up. It was going to make Rydia even more disliked. But the man who came to the forefront wasn’t going to attack them. He was too kindhearted for such a thing. The little green haired girl sighed with relief. She surely wouldn’t allow Rosa to attack her husband.
Rydia stepped in front of the blonde swordswoman and pushed the edge of the blade down. She shook her head, trying to signal Celes that there was no need to fight. She quickly turned around and smiled gleefully. ”Hi Cecil~” she cheered. She moaned as she looked a bit bashful for a moment, avoiding eye contact. ”Well, umm…” She didn’t care to explain to him how she was invading his castle at the moment. Sneaking into a castle and fighting Cecil’s trusted guards wasn’t something she should admit.
But the subject changed from her to her new companion and Rydia blinked in confusion. She was amazed he would ask such a thing. It might have been dark, but she thought it would be obvious to tell Rosa was standing in front of him. They had grown up together and traveled together just as long as Rydia did with Cecil. ”It’s Rosa!” she shouted in a disapproving manner before looking back at the woman she kept claiming was Rosa. ”Er, I mean, Celes,” she said nervously. Rydia smiled timidly before running off to Cecil’s side and leaning up to him, whispering in his ear as she tried to explain how the woman was Rosa but obviously suffered mind control or amnesia so she called herself Celes and she got really angry if they didn’t play along. She merrily skipped back to Rosa’s side after the secret sharing, giving Rosa a reassuring smile.
”We’re going to Rosa’s room to check on Rosa.”
