"Okay, now that's over with. We should probably decide where we're going to go next; we still have to find Beat and Shiki," Neku said, breathing a quiet sigh of relief. He hated all that emotional stuff and getting all worked up over it. But that'd probably get easier to deal with the more he experienced it. It'd gone that way with about every other new experience in not being anti-social (Or, not as antisocial as before, anyways) so he guessed he'd get used to this, too.
He had to admit, though. It did feel kind of good to know there was someone a little closer than most. A little disconcerting, but that was a leftover from the 'I hate everyone' person he'd morphed out of, so that part of it was left out of his mind. Besides, this was Rhyme; she wouldn't do anything to hurt a friend of hers. "I think I've checked almost every city on this continent, but it looks like there are some others. North and West. I'll leave it up to you where we look next, okay?"

"Yeah, they're still missing. Hopefully they're together!" she chirped, thinking of her brother and her close friend with each other. She giggled. Beat and Shiki were probably least likely to get along out of the group, excluding Joshua, since Joshua and Beat...she didn't even want to think about it. He'd kill Joshua, she knew that. "Hmmm...let's go North. But not until your arm heals up!" she told him, eying the arm that had been cut whilst he was saving her from the monster. He would insist they keep going, but she did not need a hurt Neku--especially if anything like what happened this morning happened again. She went over and sat by him, giving him a small pat on the head. Is there anything I can get you?"

"Of course not. I'm no good to either of us if I try to go anywhere hurt," Neku replied, nodding his agreement. He wasn't going to push himself if he knew he wasn't going to be able to handle it. Beat probably would, but Neku was not, nor would he ever be, Beat. Which was a good thing; he'd kill himself if he found out he was acting like that. Or get killed by something, whichever was first.
Next up, Rhyme patted him on the head and asked if he needed anything. Did he? ... Well, he hadn't eaten breakfast, but he couldn't say he felt hungry right now. Not to mention he felt dizzy enough to send it right back out if he did eat anything at the moment. "Not really, no. Thanks for asking, though. You should go get something to eat; I'm not really hungry right now, but you could bring me back something to eat for later."

"I'm not that hungry, just didn't want you to be in more pain from your stomach. An injury is always worse on an empty stomach." she told him, giving a light smile to the red head. The last part of her speech had inevitably come from Beat, seeing as he was easily sickened when he wasn't fed, and was more irratable than ever. Rhyme was rarely sick, and rarely hungry. But Beat was the opposite. He got sick, and he was always hungry.
She missed her brother. The one she'd been proud to call her partner in the Reapers' Game, and her numbskull (he had his moments, though) of a brother. The game was very much a reverse of how they had died, this time she saved him. She'd payed the ultimate price. But nothing in her mind beyond that, not until she landed here. What was the ultimate price? She wasn't sure herself, and she wasn't sure she wanted to find out. Neku most likely knew, but she wasn't going to push him in his memories too far. That could be deadly for anyone, because everyone had a secret, really. Even she did.

"Okay. I think I'm going to try to sleep some; you can go ahead and start traveling if you think you're ready. Don't worry about me, I'll catch up," Neku said, offering a smile to her. In any case, he needed to look in to getting something with better transportation abilities than his feet, as effective as they were. Something called 'airships' were around in this world, and they looked to be convenient ways to move around. One of them had caught his eye with some salesman's rant about speed. It'd be a lot easier to look in different cities if they didn't have to spend so much time in transit.
Besides, Rhyme would be fine. She was tougher than she looked, that much he knew. Besides, he didn't want to slow her down; he'd probably be stuck resting for a couple of days, and she probably wanted to hurry and continue looking for Beat and Shiki. "You've still got your cell phone, right? Write your number down on a piece of paper or something so I can give you a call when I'm ready to follow after you, all right?"

"Neku.."
Rhyme was about to protest, but he was right. They needed to cover more ground, even if she didn't want to be alone. He was hurt, and she knew that. She had to do this. For him, for Shiki, and for Beat. Even for herself. She knew it was. So, with a silent shake of her head signifying that the blonde understood, she looked around for a piece of paper. She didn't have a good feeling about this. She really didn't. They could have sharks here, too. Cars were of course here. Or so she thought. The world kept changing around her, and she hated it. More that it scared her, but she wouldn't tell Neku that.
So finally finding a small piece of paper with just a bit of grease on it, she took a nearby pen and started writing flowing numbers that we girly but readable. This made hersmile, and she handed it to Neku. "I'm heading to Midgar..I think. Meet me there when you feel better, okay?" she told him, giving him a hug. "Goodbye."
