A yawn escaped from the small frail girl smack middle in what appeared to be a mine. It was carved beautifully by the fal'Cie but, of course, this would be knowledge Shiki knew not. It's been three days now since her landing on Gran Pulse and it was all so frightening. She was glad to have not forgotten her ability to fight for there was a couple skirmishes with the local monster population.
She arose, exhaustion still in her bones as she continued forward, wanting to be freed of this cave. There was a sudden rumble as Shiki looked around, Mr. Mew in her hand clutched, ready for anything else this wilderness had in store for her. Shiki realized too late that the ground crumbled beneath her and when she would awake next would leave her completely shocked.
It almost looked like...snow? No, that wasn't the word. Barren maybe, but enough about that as she looked around, screaming in fright as this...giant ball was behind her. As if reacting to her scream, the ball moved once more and was gone, into the hole from which it came. Shiki quickly looked around herself and realized there was a...village? It seemed very far but...It was her only hope.

"This forest is massive...greater than anything I have ever seen."
Ouranus stepped lightly in the forest as she looked around cautiously. She had been keeping an eye out for any monsters that seem to be not what she typically encountered when she was a child. She had very little knowledge when it came to visiting this area, so it was best to maintain a heightened sense of awareness. Softly petting her chocobo, the silver haired warrior continued to move through the forest carefully until she saw someone that had caught her eye. From the look of things she appeared to be a much younger girl. Was she separated from a group? Scanning around for any signs of monsters, she nodded her head as she slowly made her way to see if she was okay. Moving to the mine, she calmly raised her hand to the younger girl in a sign of hello and that she was not going to harm her. It was not her intent to harm her, but rather try to give her some help. However, as she looked at the girl's attire, she wondered if she had belonged to any place in particular. Her mind continued to go through the paces, trying to match the clothing with the civilzation she could possibly belong to. One thing was clear though from first glance: this girl did not come from Alexandria. Now all Ouranus needed to find out was where exactly did she come from.

Shiki was at a loss. She had no idea where she was and it baffled her. This was like nowhere she has been before, especially her hometown. What was her hometown? Shiki tried hard to think but nothing came to mind. However, as she was thinking, Novas had spotted her and she hadn't noticed. It was only when she waved that Shiki saw her as she waved back.
"Oh...I didn't know anyone else was here." She said. "Um I know we just met and all but do you know where I am?" Shiki asked, blinking. She felt the need to introduce herself but...what was her name? She didn't even know. Why did she lose her memory and why was it missing?
Oh well, she'll have to walk forward and hope it will come back. If not, she'll just have to make her own memories. What in the world was that yellow bird? Now that didn't jog her memory at all...so it must not have been in her memory in the first place.
